I currently have a magma and a plume veil; love the magma, hate the plume veil. I'm just looking for some ideas for what to get next. I may not like my plume veil because this hcigar version really sucks with my stingray x clone. Sometimes won't fire for whatever reason and it's like breathing through a straw no matter how much nicotine or PG I use in my fluid. My magma has great throat hit, flavor, and just works really well. I'd really like another rda or rba (preferably an rba) that is similar to the magma.

what is the difference between a RDA and a RBA? what is an RBA even? rebuildable dripping atomizer = rda, ... is rba= ?, which i think is just rebuildable atomizer, and can mean a rebuildable dripping atomizer or rebuildable tank atomizer. RBA just means anything that is rebuildable :laugh:

from what I have used personally, I can reccomend the Cigreen X and Stillare for simple no fuss RDAs.

if you want something 'similar' to your magma, i believe the Cigreen N23 is a 'cloud chaser' version of a magma, my personal opinion. It has nice airflow options and that deck airflow that still gives you good flavor.

I have a couple Magmas. Other bottom airflow RDAs I like more are the Lancia and the Holmes. The Holmes holds more juice and has more airflow. My favorite flavor attys right now are the top air flow Rogue and Lethal. Both won't leak like the Magma and have smaller chambers for more concentrated flavor. I also like the Veritas and Ometra, but both can be tricky to build. I hear the Marquis is one of the easiest to build and best flavor RDAs available.

Marquis. End all be all of RDAs in terms of flavor. I'm a HUGE magma lover... Known for its flavor... The Marquis is on a different planet! Cheap and hugely well made clones out ther as of this week.

wow! marquis!

I was gonna mention the veritas, but this marquis looks a bit like it except the marquis has 2 airholes instead of one

I prefer single coils at around 1 ohm so I'm totally satisfied with my Veritas. For duel coil lovers I do think the Marquis would be the better choice because of the ease of mounting the coils.

Coil winding/mounting so easy even a cave man could do it, plus it doesn't break the bank, plus flavor for days.

Disclaimer: I don't have either unit so please do your own research, but I'm thinking you can use the rods for the Marquis in the Kuro to wind the coils, then transfer them to the Marquis for mounting.

Like I say, I'm a huge Veritas fanboy, but if I was in the market for a new rda, I think I'd have to give that coil winder and the Marquis a try.

I checked out the marquis and it looks pretty sweet. I think we have a winner. I love my magma, but it can be kind a pain to build since there's not really an easy way to hold both coils in place while you tighten everything dowm. This marquis looks ridiculously easy to build on and I love the airflow.

1: vertical coil
2: toothpick

If you like the magma, you'll love the Holmes RDA by Cigreen.

Very similar design, except the air holes are raised so they are only a couple mm away from the coil and to prevent leaking, It's basically an improved magma. However, I heard the v2 has some problems andthe v1 isnt made anymore. I had to order my v1 from UK, though they may have worked out the v2 flaws by now. Don't quote me on that though

RBA = ReBuildable Atomizer. This is an overall acronym that includes both tanks and drippers.

RDA = Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer.

RTA = Rebuildable Tank Atomizer.

RBA = anything rebuildable, it's a generic term so it applies to everything. That means you cannot be specific with it.

RDA = an RBA that has no tank, it's for dripping. With a big enough deck and well, you can drip 1ml anyway.

RTA = an RBA that has a separate tank. There are different feed methods.

RDTA = an RTA with a big deck that you can use in either mode (dripper or tank).

Genesis = the first type of RBA. It is taken to mean an RBA with a deck above the tank, originally with SS tube wicks that passed from the deck down into the tank, and around which the coil or coils are wound. Wicks vary now though.
