So I want a ton of rdas but I can't decide on one, I would like to get a swirlfish(project sub ohm),plume veil, yep rda, cltv3(project sub ohm), and an aeolus, which one do you guys think would be mostly for vapor, but still decent flavor? I am a cloud chaser but I'm not like a massive omg cloudZ cloud chaser I just like them to be decent, so thanks guys!

None of those. Or all of them! How about you add the Flawless Tugboat, Tobh, Doge X to that list!! Then it might be complete!!

Types of rda:

1:
1962303-1.jpg

This is the most common type:
- three posts in a line; the center post being the positive.
- side airflow: topcap with airflow holes.

2:
1854400-5.jpg

A multipositive design; you don't have to get your coils to share a positive contact point; you can secure each coil one at a time without disturbing the other coil.
2(b) the above example also illustrates another feature: the negative postpoints are part of the deck, and not something screwed/welded/pressfitted in afterwards.

3:
1651801-1.jpg

This is the abosolute rock bottom cheapest type of rda; positive centerpost and just 1 negative post.
Often available as a 14mm diameter, matching with standard eGo batteries.

4:

Glass!
There are a couple rda's that use glass so you can see the condition inside your rda.

4(b)

The above rda also features a chuff cap; intead of taking out the small drip tip, or the entire top part and end up disturbing your wicking, you can just take the topmost part off and look down inside your rda cylinder.

4(c)This example also features bottom entry airflow; that's something you will likely have with a glass rda, because you don't really want holes in the glass.

5: bottom air intake is susceptible to leaking; sometimes more so than side intake airflow;
so there have been a few top intake airflow rda's where air comes in from the top, to be guided down to the coil level where it then comes in sideways to the coil/s.

6: Something other than 3 posts in a line:
1987300-3.jpg

Here's one with bottom intake airflow; air comes up through the center post.

7:This one take air from top, and additionally has no center post sticking up. Only 2 posts separated widely.

8: There are a few rda's that can be used in hybrid to a mod of the right thread:

This one hybrids to M26x1 threaded mods.

For the flavor marquis rda is good I hear also plum veil 1.2 if you can get em but I've got veritas and plum veil v2, dark horse and so on. Plum veil v2 has tons of airflow. Dark horse is easy to build and clouds good on it. Magma was also good I think. Don't know if u want clouds or flavor due to there is not that many that these both.

Out of all the ones listed, I would go with the aeolus hands down. It doesn't leak, the flavor is the most crisp out of all the rda's I own (clean, but not super dense). I'd also recommend the Tugboat v2, at home its my daily driver. Hell I loved it so much I bought a v2.5 (it's pretty much the same, just cerakoted). Its dead simple, and as far as side airflow 3 post designs go, it is king. My v2 has the blue anodized aluminum barrel, dissipates heat quickly. The 454 is another great device but it is a pain to build on the first few times, the post holes aren't that big and the deck is tiny. All 4 holes open with a dual twisted 26ga coil at a .35ohm impedance on my sigelei at 90w and it's still a rather cool vape, I use it mostly on mechs now with a quad coil setup. Top notch dense flavor. If you want one of the cheaper "competition hyooge cloudzzzzz yo!" Rda's I'd go with the doge v2, hasn't let me down in the limited time I've used it, and out of all those particular segment attys I think it performs the best. I can't speak for clone versions of all the aforementioned.

I have a vertex, and a couple of cltv3's, mutation x v3's, and tugboat v2's. My favorites are the mutation and tugboat and are the two types I use. The vertex is a pain to take apart and I lost patience with it. I stripped the screw on one of the cltv3's, the other I find nothing special. The tugboat's flavor is better than the mutation (with the mutations air flow closed down), while the mutation is a better cloud chaser (with its airflow open). I also have the steam cap and anarchist cap for the tugboat, which both work fine for what they are intended for, but since I have a mutation I end up mostly using the stock cap on the tugboat.

I haven't been able to find an authentic swirlfish or plume veil in stock anywhere.
