So my buddy just bought his first PV. He got the sigelei ZMAX V2 kit. From vaporheads.net. I am trying to set it up for him but as soon as I screw my carto tank on the device it starts firing even if the the device is turned off. I don't own one if theses so I am not use to the menu system. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this. Please let me know ASAP.

Well my vamo buttons were sticking when i first got it and i took the batterys out and poured rubbing alcohol on the buttons and keeped pressing them then let it dry and havent had a button stick since and that has been 2 weeks plus. Just an idea not sure if it will help your issue but a thought.
I just got mine and have been using it for several days with no problems at all. I love it. Just curious where are the round indentations- are they on the slanted piece at top or on the piece below the slant?
If it fires in the off position, return it, no device should fire on its own, especially while in the off position. You can find directions for these on line, I have the same thing and it does not fire unless I want it to.
Mine are on the slanted piece at the top. Where are yours. And is there a difference???
Mine are below the slanted piece and think it may be a newer model than what you have. I would contact the supplier. There are several types out there. Also from what I understand one is not kanger friendly ie no threads in center area.
+1. If you can turn it off and it still fires, I wouldn't mess with it further. That's a serious hazard and sounds like something is either shorted or mis-wired, resulting in full power bypassing the circuit board.
