Big Snip...

"Thats why you do web design for a living right?"

Not hardly.

---

"The only contribution that Ive seen you add to any thread in the AVE forums is to "stir the pot", foment trouble and make a stressful situation even worse by your incessant and unending complaints about the site design and how it's implemented."

And all I've seen you do is make excuses for them.

---

"then you create a website that's largely unneeded and also slows down AVE's page in the process"

Lol, this shows how little you know, my site average's like 1 request a minute to avejuice.com, and the day of his reopening served like 44k pageviews, those were all pages that ave didn't have to load.

Yes... His problems are all from me, and had nothing to do with him not paying attention to the fact that he was hosting the site on the free hosting tier at godaddy.
---

"I have just as much if not MORE of a right to be here"

Lol.

---

"Until VERY recently, these forums filled with loyal AVE customers were like family."

Oh. That's my fault? It has absolutely nothing to do with avejuice's performance as a vendor?

---

"The thing about families is, you take a shot at one of us..... you take a shot at all of us. I think you'd do well to remember that."

Ok... internet toughguy.

---

Honestly if I had an agenda, I would have adds all over is-ave-open.info, I clearly don't. And if I wanted Ben's business I would be kissing his ..., not criticizing him. I just wanted to build a node.js backend, and this seemed like a good project to do it on.

Edit. Here is the relevent code that determines how often I check aves site.

And Here is the API endpoint

MonsterTKE you're doing a great job. Your efforts are appreciated by all. Don't waste your time & intelligence responding to Zapped. He has control issues and obviously had a poor family atmosphere growing up. His type don't do well with opinions other than his own; especially when he's confusing customer loyalty with family loyalty. They also tend to be stalkers and have never kissed a girl. AVE may be a good juice vendor but bad businessmen. They have disregarded customer needs and apparently hired unprofessional web developers. Hopefully, they realize this before they loose their customer base. Keep up the good work!

Zapped and Monster. I rarely call someone out so please take this with the minimum amount of seriousness you can ask for over the internet...but, cut out the bickering, please.

MonsterTKE - Nice site and I'll get with you later about the API idea. I can empathize with your experience as well. You have a skill set and know how it *should* look vs. how it is actually looking. (I'm aware of this too and doing what I can to rectify the situation. However, it is as much a social issue as it is a programming one. ) You seem to be a veteran internet user so I hold you a bit responsible for the continuation of the argument. You know you don't have to respond to ad hominem attacks. Plus, Alien Visions E-Juice for an argument? Psssh, there are better more serious battles out there, e.g. Waffles vs. Pancakes, StarTrek vs. Star Wars, Mac vs. PC, ...

That being said, I can imagine with your point of view, watching the website come to fruition was probably like watching monkeys hump a doorknob.

Zapped - Please, leave it be. Anything MosterTKE has said I've heard before in my own head long before it was uttered by a mouth. More to the point he is correct on many issues. His delivery of those talking points might be blunt and a bit pernicious but we evaluate the ideas themselves not the delivery.

Thank you for coming to AVE's defense, however, *AVE* is a business and as such harbors no feelings, ill will, graciousness, or otherwise.

-----

I rue the day I have to delete a post over something as silly as an argument. However, this was brought to my attention via third parties who would rather not scroll through pages of back-n-forth.

I'd appreciate a place for people to come and say what needs to be said. Let's not take that out of context as, "A place to come say anything in disregard to anyone else."
-----

P.S. - Stevensbox, lets not attack peoples character here, please. See my "ad hominem" comment above.

No way dude.

Capt. Kirk got a hot new alien girlfriend every week. Luke Skywalker only got to kiss his sister.

IDK Dant. I do see your point, but I remember back when I was a kid and thought Luke skywalkers sister was pretty hot ;) But I do recall a few alien hotties in Kirks past as well. Perhaps I need to reconsider my vote..........

Ok, you got a point there. Princess Leia was pretty hot, especially in that metal bikini. But Kirk is still the Space Casanova...

If Solo and Kirk teamed up, man, oh man. Kirk, Spock, Han, Chewie, and Lando, just out cruisin', shootin' the poop, killing time by frying poor Greedo first. I can totally see Kirk and Solo downing libations in an alien bar somewhere, reminiscing about all the alien poon they've hit over the past years.

Han: "Dude, I can make the Kessel Run in less than four parsecs! *hic*"

Kirk: "*Hic*, dude, I went back in time and saved a buncha whales, man! *hic*"

Spock: "I *hic* I died *hic* you blank-holes! Then had to stow aboard McCoy! *hic* Ah, screw you all, *hic*, I'm outta here... Where's Uhura??! Hey, Uhura! Translate some dirty talk from Vulcan into Andurian! You know that turns me on!"

I just started watching reruns of Battlestar Galactica.NOT a fan of Richard Hatch by any means but I will say his character was a lucky man to hook up on-screen with a young Jane Seymour......even an old Jane Seymour is incredible :)

Have you seen the BSG reboot from the SciFi Channel? Amazing show. Arguably the best sci fi show ever made (flame shield from Dr. Who fans donned). Got kinda wonky in the last two seasons, but all in all, a rock solid show.
