I used ad block plus, Right clicked and block element, once to get rid of the ad, and once more to get rid of the box.
I hope that helps.

Edit to say, I don't use a phone when on here.:|
I tried to do that before, but it didn't work. Tried again just now, and success was mine.

How do I right click on an iPhone?

I’m sick of this stupid ad. I post mostly from my phone and it takes up valuable screen space.
On my Android phone, a 'press and hold' usually simulates a right-click.

Nope… on my phone it’s still sitting there, making a pest of itself.

Today I’ve mainly been using one of my Mac’s, don’t see it at all on those.
I just rebooted my phone and came back to ecf. My banner is still gone. Wonder why?
I did click on it to read the stupid ad but that's all. I'm not using any ad block.

But - it' still there on my desktop mac. I'm confused. Maybe I have an adblocker installed on my android phone that I don't know about.
Just checked 3 of our Mac's using Safari and none have it. One is running 12.0.1 (Monterey), another 11.7.1 (Big Sur) and another is running 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). I don't have any ad blockers running on our Mac's. One of my daughters is out'n'about with her MacBook and I'm 100% confident I won't see it on there either.

Bizarre. I'm running 10.13.6 (High Sierra) on this Mac and logged on through Safari and I see the banner. Still gone from my phone though.
