New Steeping Method.

Wile reading all the posts about steeping I got an Idea and tried it out, to my disbelief it's working. I'm also a watch affectionato so I decided this morning to put 3 30ml clear ejuice in hot water dried the bottles and put them on my watch winder,it's a wooden box that keeps automatic watches wound if you don't use them for a wile. mine works like this: I was able to put 3 bottles in it and turned it to wind both directions, mine turns 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off and turnes the opposite way when I got home today after 8 hours of winding 2 bottles are noticeably light yellow and the third one lighter will experiment more on this and let you know more.
By the way since is my first time steeping when do you think is the ejuice ready??? What color should it be???

Nice method for you since you have the machine, not sure about the rest of us though. Different juices will turn different colors, though a lot tend to be either clear or a brown or yellow. Taste is subjective, so give the juices a vape and see if they are steeped enough to your liking. Sounds like after being shaken and stirred for 8 hours may be enough, only you can be the judge of that though.

I did see that thread but since I already had the winder I wanted to give it a whirl besides the only thing I did not like about the ultrasonic cleaner is that they run for a few minutes and then you have to restart them manually,my winder you turn it on and wont shut off until you decide to turn it off. It was a suggestion in case someone does have one available to try the method out.

LMAO a winder can or can not be expensive as some of you may think,I have seen winders that are as cheep as the ultrasonic.

I made a 1/4 pot of water in the coffee maker and made a little Lego stand that fit into the pot to hold the bottles away from the direct heat. Let the bottles sit in the @160 degree water giving them a shake whenever I walked by. They sat in the water for about a hour being warmed but not too hot like boiling water. Having them sit in the coffee maker seemed to work cause some of my juices darkened a bit and they actually tasted better after the bath.

Use a rubber band to attach the bottle to the arm of a metronome. Put in warm oven. Done.
