So... Once in a while there are people asking which batteries can be used for x resistance.

Using the battery list provided by Baditude, I have created a chart.

Hope this will be helpful to some of you.

PS: If you find any errors on this chart, please contact me so I can correct them.

Sub Ohm Battery Chart

EDIT: Corrected version. MNKE battery changed from 10 to 20 amps (thanks Baditude)

Good job, should help quite a few people!

I never knew AW 18490s had such a high amp limit, now I need to go around and look at 18500 mods again, I always stayed away from them because I heard the 18490 had an 8 amp limit. Does AW have different 18490s like they do 650s?

When you look at batteries, look at both there size and mAh ratings. The amp limit is closely related to the mAh.

Sent pm for a fix but great chart. Definitely sticky worthy. This is exactly what I've been searching for.

Has Baditude pointed out to me, there is alot of conflicting info on the web about the efest 18650 2000mah. Some source says it has a 20A limit while others says 10. Even though Efest themselves claim that they are 20A, some tests seems to suggests otherwise. Like Baditude, I will assume that they are 10A just to be a little safer.

Efest needs to take a serious look into thier ratings if they are saying 20A. Even 10A is WAY too much for these.

If I were to make a recommendation...5A would be the limit until there are some tests showing better results. Above 7A is getting into an overload condition.
