Hazelnut sounds great... I've been really enjoying a dash of Capella's hazelnut with my VZ tobaccos, but theirs is pretty sweet and froofy (it works out great, but I have to be very careful not to use too much). A less sweet hazelnut sounds perfect.

Another one for the VZ shopping list.

Thinking about ordering Real Cig, Banana, and Vanilla. I like to keep mixing juice as simple as possible. Will these flavors stand up on there own? Any other suggestions? Was thinking about a caramel, butter rum, butter scotch, or rum raisin as well, but i don't want to order any more than 4 to keep the prices down.

I like vanilla and cigar mixed together. I just made up a batch of vanilla and tobacco ....going to let it steep for 3 days ( I hope...if I can wait that long)

Howdy caged, I feel all of the ones you asked about are AWESOME on their own! Vanilla is a great Vanilla and then you will love what it does to all your Tobacco's. Not knowing what flavors your into I would not know what suggestion would fit you best but most of them are so good you can't go to wrong! I would go with a pipe or cigar with the ones you are wanting for a good variety. Good luck and enjoy!!!

I was thinking about French Pipe, but I haven't been a huge tobacco flavor fan in the vaping world. If Vaping Zone is different than the others than I'm certainly willing to try it but I'd rather spend as little as possible on flavors that aren't usually done right. Other than that, I don't really have a favorite all day vape and am constantly switching flavors (why I love dripping so much).

I wish they had more pre-mixed flavors such as banana nut bread.

Just catching up here a bit...

Wearing my favorite T shirt that says Please Help Me, I am such a Newb!. Ok, to some this may be a very silly question, but in the steeping process, are you saying that the nic juice is not a part of that? Don't the flavors with base need to meld (and/or steep) with the nic as well?

Nicotine does degrade over time without a doubt. In fact, one of the big vendors (I think it's MadVapes) is doing an experiment right now testing nicotine degradation over time under differing conditions and posting their findings. Having said that, it appears just as certain that oxidation affects flavorings as well. So, does the inclusion or absence of nicotine affect the process of "steeping" which, IMHO, is really just a period allowing the air to work its magic on the juice? I don't know. It would be an interesting experiment, though.

I've never mixed batches with some 0 nic and some at my regular 20mg and taste-tested the difference. In fact, I almost never make a mix without nicotine. My untested theory is that there is probably some difference between steeping 0 nic and X nic juices but I haven't a clue as to whether or not one would be faster than the other.

I'm not too worried about it. My point about making some premixed flavored base was as much about convenience as getting a jump on the steeping process but I take your point - if I have a pre-steeped, premixed base and add unsteeped nicotine, would that affect the taste? Dunno - we'll have to give it a try.

Agreed, and I think the same is true of some of the fruits as well.

Same with women, Az. ;)

Ain't that the truth!

funny, I was just thinking about this and wanted to post my two cents on the subject. I always mix my flavor together with PG/VG and let it steep for a week or longer depending on what it is. I have found that when steeped and then adding the nic at the last stage it is ready to be vaped. Giving the nic too much air will give it a funky smell. I have tested that by leaving a small amount of nic by itself to breath and after some time it starts to smell.

Just catching up here a bit...

I may be placing a new order soon. Thinking about tryin Island Tobacco, pina colada, dunhill and desert ship. My one complaint about VZ's website is that they do not give good decriptions about the flavors. Can anyone tell me what Dunhill and island tobacco are like?

If you search this thread you'll find plenty of info and reviews on these and other flavors. There are also several review threads on the VZ super concentrated flavors in the Flavor Reviews sub-forum.

I haven't tried the desert ship personally. I think the Pina Colada is excellent, and the Island Tobacco and Dunhill are outstanding.

Just wondering if there was another thread in the DIY forum about another lot of super concentrated flavours? I believe the title of the thread was a vendor name perhaps? Maybe it got deleted?

Appreciate any clues. I had read half of it and was planning to read the other half just now :)

That is why I like to leave commits on there website and rate the Flavor because it helps others with picking a Flavor. Dunhill is a GREAT vape that is a cream, Tobacco, nutty, chocolate flavor to me and The Island tobacco is a Lime - tobacco with coconut and honey, Both are very good.

Got my first order in the mail today, Blackberry, French Pipe, Black & Mild, Peach, Apricot, Banana, Mandarin, and Honey Flue Cured. I ordered this stuff Friday night, WOW, that is some fast shipping. I mixed up 5 mil batches of all of them, and letting them steep. I don't know how long I'm going to be able to resist filling a carto, or at least dripping a little. I can't wait, because they smell so good.

I've tried all but the banana and mandarin on your list. You've got some mighty good vapin' ahead of you.
