Well, I got in an order from Health cabin and the first one out seemed to work fine. After trying the second one, it was gurgly and kept drying out. So I tried another when I looked at the thread end, I noticed the center hole was larger when I put the ones I had that came with the long and short condom. The center pin is also different. THe center where the wick goes down is also much larger inside. Maybe when I punched it it got thru? THe filler is also much fluffier than even the original ones I had, so I tried 2 holes only and not as large, works better but going dry quicker. Im at my wits end. I got the cartos on thur and have now gone thru 4 with only one being fine. If you check out heatlh cabins post from the Boge company, they STILL insist that there have been NO changes and that it is how WE the users dont use them properly. Im now looking at a Zen atty, its expensive but so many people love them, I figure the wasted money on these inconsistant cartos will pay for the Zen in a couple months. If anyone finds consistant cartos that work well in a phiniac tank, please let me know. I love this tank and my Triple V tanks and hate for the 3 of them to sit sadly with out use. I am happy with the new Kanger ce4, but dont like how it looks. I have tried out some clearos from royal smokers, great taste, they work well but again, hate the way they look. I will have to continue to go down to laguna beach and get the good boge and pay twice the price and the gas, but at least they work. This is frustrating, with all the fiddling around to get the boge to work, Im actually thinking that fiddling around with a rebuildable atty looks like a breeze.

Since I only have Phiniac tanks, I wasen't able to try it in any other tanks, but since it didn't work in a Phiniac (which is the TIGHTEST tank setup, from all that I've heard) I doubt it would work in any others....but that's just conjecture on my part.

How did it vape aside from the leaking issue? Well, it was leaking soo bad I wasen't able to vape it AT ALL using the tank. I quickly got a syringe and sucked up what liquid I could to keep it from running down the side of my beloved Provari!
I did, however, got ahead and vape it after pulling it from the tank, and I have to say that to ME, there was alittle more flavor intensity, but not enough to warrent getting more. Maybe I'll give the Kangers a try next, since they fit a tank. I personally have no problems with the Boges, just interested in seeing if there's anything else 'out there' that tastes any better.

My avatar winked at you?? Really?? And what have YOU been vapin?
No, my dear friend and computer wizard, ECF mod jOker did that for me....so if you have any complaints, talk to HIM!

Glad the syringe method worked well for you! I prefer it myself over the other methods, less messy IMHO. I also use the syringe when refilling my Phiniac tanks. What I do is, take a butter knife and using the broad side of the butterknife, press down on the bottom of the carto (where the threads are) this gets it out of the tank enough to put my fingers on the other side where the drip tip is, and pull it out enough so I can put my syringe with needle in and fill the tank from the bottom side. I think it works better this way for me because the carto is wet on the bottom side, so it slides alittle better than the top side of the carto.

Oh yea, I've found my new syringe handy for getting liquid out of a whole bunch of old stuff I'm not using any more. That thing has really come in handy, and it got a workout today! And you're right, it is much less messy filling things with it than other methods. Keeps things nice and tidy...

A note on the Kangers... I mentioned they were a little short, right? Well they are right on that line of barely fitting, and it seems that even slight (normal) variations in construction can make a difference. I tried a few different punching methods today (just for fun) and found that each carto varies in length by about 0.25mm or so. That's nothing really and well within any standard manufacturing tolerances, but since these are already a hair short it makes a difference between clearing the top o-ring or resting in the middle of it. Either way its making a good seal and I've had no leaks, even carrying it around in my pocket and having a 3yo ambush me throughout the day, but it kinda bugged me that it was sooo close to not fitting. I'm using a Cartomator, so maybe it's a different story in another tank, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Oh, and I vape my own special blend... ;) But not any more after seeing odd blinking avatars! :)

I hear ya loud and clear! I was exactly where you are just a few days ago, since then I have gotten in some Kanger Horizontal Cartos and a Penelope RBA. Vaping is now enjoyable again. I can honestly say that I can contribute all my problems of the past few weeks to those Boges I've been using. I'd suggest trying out the Kangers either here (best price), or here (for a 510 connection). See my posts above about this... but they are a little short, but still fit in my Cartomator and I've had no leaking issues.

Also, I am really new to RBA (only 3 days), but I am really digging my Penelope. There is a learning curve, but honestly building the coil is a breeze. My issues are that I'm still trying to figure out where to set my voltage and juice control for that perfect vape. I definitely recommend trying one, even though mine isn't for all day use yet because I'm still learning, but the flavor that comes through is every bit as good as dripping.... maybe better. Its really freaking amazing how pure it is. Still, I'm using my Cartomator quite a lot too, with the Kangers, and its very enjoyable.

Good luck!
