Now you can get 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 ohm in bottom feeders or 1.5 or 2.0 in top feed. The top feeders are now being called universal hybrids.

If the needle on the Ali'i won't fit into the venturi of the hybrid atty, there are adapters available.
I wouldn't call the atomizer a "fail" just because it won't work on one discontinued mod.
I have no problems with the hybrid on the Reo, Monkeyboxx, Phidias, or Red Sky mod.

I can understand your frustration, but it's not my experience with the hybrid.
