Just saw this on Shine/yahoo page;

Remove odors
Got a musty-smelling book or a plastic container with a fish odor? Place them in the freezer overnight. By morning they'll be fresh again. This works with almost any other small item that has a bad smell you want to get rid of

I'm going to try it with a bottle from TV w/GB in it, gee if it works for fish odors, this may work! I'll try it and post tomorrow!

Will do, had a ton of 30 ml bottles with mint, TV & others that I couldn't bear to throw away, but didn't want to put anything else into for fear of transferring the smell/flavor. If it works for these, it's a easy way to do it, then wash and rinse.

Lisa B, I hear ya on that one, I'm still wiping the keyboard & my monitor down.....hope they aren't flooded.......lol

Vicky...... Vicky..... Vicky:facepalm: There is a much easier way of not dealing with that nasty odor TV liquids leaves in bottles..................quit putting that chit in there! Darn woman if you're that hard up and need to buy that cheap stuff you know can PM me.

You also need reminded the only way to rid yourself of the nasty gingerbutt taste from TV is the hiney lick maneuver. I'm hearing rumors they may put that as an option on the site, trying to figure out the "doubler" aspect :ohmy: boB

To really get rid of stinky mold and stuff on books you have to leave them in the freezer for like 2 weeks. Smoke works the same way. My librarian told me about this. To get rid of something that is not as involved as mold or smoke, you can put the offending crap in a plastic bag with baking soda and seal up for a couple of days, it works fine. Kills it off!!!!
I put a tad of baking soda in the book bags in the freezer and never had an issue. In fact, I wrote an E-How article on this 2 years ago. I don't know if it is still up or not.
