Flavor Molecules from Perfumer's Apprentace (TFA)?

Monkey wrench time, the guaiacol I got from TFA was 10% guaiacol not sure if that is 100% or 10% on their website.

as an aside... my grandfather was a 'Rocket Scientist', he worked for Rocketdyne, devolving rocket engines... He died of bladder cancer, because for 20+ years he ate his lunch sitting on a box of plutonium...

You do have to give him credit, he did make innovations that are used to this day, and at the time no one knew the effects of that damn box that was the perfect height for that desk...

Eugenol will cause the lungs to bleed (irritant) and cause soft tissue to blister (vesicant) use with caution and in minute concentrations

Thanks for the heads up. We are kinda in the wild west here (not just thread, but all of ECF). There are some of us who will try about anything (within reason, including capsicum, yummmm... DOHHHH!!!) and others who seem to enjoy spreading panic and paranoia. You sound like a refreshing voice of tempered reason, always welcome 'round these parts.

I've been thinking about the Art of Perfume making for years I'm not so sure about braking down the components so it's safe for vaping. I think I'll stick with Extraction and go find a Lavender patch for my next project.

even with guaiacol 1% I'm getting great results at 0.5%-1%.
the Aldihyde c-14 is amazing stuff, dilute it to 1% and use up to 1.5% for an incredible peach tone. the c-18 is good, but haven't had much time to play with it.

Caryophyllene Oxide 1% is f'ing brilliant in tobacco, adds a cedar note, strangely it also works well with coconut...

Has anyone tried the Tetramethylpyrazine 10% yet? Its listed under the tobacco notes and is described as giving "nutty, musty, cocoa, drying, peanut-like and raw coffee notes". Every flavor molecule I've researched thus far has an inhalation/eyes/skin warning, so that was no help. I ordered this one and put 1 drop per 10ml in a batch I made 2 days ago but haven't given it a vape yet. I thought it'd be a good idea to consult this thread first.

Nice, thank you. Apparently they all went with the TMP and had no recipes/notes of the tetramethyl. I added it at 1drop/5 in a recent recipe, so I guess I'll just have to see first hand how it effects the juice (if at all at such a low %).
