ckmeyers : Are you using the long wick Kanger or did i ordered the wrong one?

I'm using the same thing you ordered. The Kanger T3 bottom coil. If you go to Got Vapes.com, find their Kanger T3 ad and scroll down, they have a photo you can enlarge that shows how to fill it. When you take the bottom off that's where the wick and the coil are, the rest of it's just the holding tank, which you flip up side down, put in the juice, put the bottom back on, flip it right side up and you're good to go. :)

slightly over a day now vaping.

is it normal to chain vape the first few days?

And my throat is a little sore. Is that what the throat hit is all about?

I don't know if the chain vaping is usual, or if it's an indication of not getting enough nicotine to satisfy the craving. I had a lot of trouble with a sore throat too. I got over the counter sore throat meds to ease that. I have no idea what they mean when they talk about throat hit. I've read some people are sensitive to the PG in the e-liquid, so they try using the VG based liquids instead. I still haven't found my perfect set up and favorite e-liquid to make this all easy and comfortable for myself either.

What nicotine level of juice are you using? Does it satisfy the craving, or are you still needing to smoke some analogs too?

I'm taking 18mg liquids from dekang and have not had a single analogue since started couple days back.
It could be PG sensitivity our quality of the liquids?
I've placed an order with virgin vapor and theirs are pure VG and should taste better.
Hope I don't get these sore throat anymore.

I started with ego-T upgraded to ego-C later, and have used mega cartos for a sleek look. I think this is a really good place to start because it's easy and gets you going. Once you have the materials in your hand and can test the waters a bit is where you can really start to delve in to the vaping experience and understand it a little mroe to make more informed decisions with a $100 purchase. You can get a batter and cartos to start you for like $40 and that will give you some time to figure out what kind of juices you'll like too so that when you make your larger purchase you already have a juice you know you like and can compare the flavors to the simpleton ego/carto.

It sounds like the 18mg is working for you. I went up to 24mg so I could satisfy the craving with less vaping. I had been getting more than 24mg a day with heavy smoking anyway. Drinking water while you vape is suppose to help the sore throat. I've gotten VG juice from both Vapor God and from Johnson Creek, I plan on reordering from both places. They have small sample sizes of their juice, so I've been trying those. I like Vapor God juices because some of their flavors are kind of mellow. The more vaping I do the less it bothers my throat and I am still vaping some of the PG juices I bought. I hope your throat will stop bothering you soon. Take care. :)
