New to DIY 100% VG

Hello. So I had some questions. First off I only drip, I really can't go back cuz I just love it..

I say that cuz I'm looking into 100% VG. I'm not looking for for EVERYTHING to be VG, I'm just so broke right now I couldn't order PG and a lot of my friends wanted to try PG free anyway. I've had some DIY all VG juice.. The flavor was great.. but dudes been mixing for quite awhile and I lost contact with him.

I'm wondering how I can get some good flavor..
Any tips?

Getting good flavor from high VG liquid isn't as bad as the forum tends to make it. You may have to bump some flavors up a percent or two but other flavors work out better than using high PG. Using only VG you would need to diluted it a bit and most use distilled water for that. A good rule of thumb for diluting is 20%, this would include any flavoring carried in PG and the distilled water combined.

Idk about you guys but I never dilute my max vg juice especially if I'm just dripping it I typically use 10-20% flavoring and that thins it out enough even when I just feel like using 100 vg to mess around and blow clouds my wick absorbs it I use koh gen doh and I used to use regular organic cotton and that worked fine all you have to do is drip a few drops on you wick right by your coil then fire it and drip some more juice idk it just seems like when everything's heated up it pulls the juice into your wick faster when using 100%vg and once the wicks broken in it shouldn't give you any problems unless your not giving it enough time to saturate look at it this way when you put just dish soap on a sponge it takes a while to soak it but if your using water it absorb it right away cause it's thinner similar to pg and vg

If you are using 10-20% PG based flavoring you are getting the same basic idea in the end as what is being suggested here. 10-20% Pg will thin the VG. The distilled water dilution is a good idea if OP is using VG based flavors and has a literal 100% VG ratio or if using flavors like FA or INW where you may have an end result of only 1.5% or other low amount of total flavoring. That would not be enough PG to make any significant difference to the thickness and distilled water will :)

+1 +1 What these two said . I used vg nic plus vg base plus flavors that are pg based. Seems to make the juice sweeter and richer. I did not need to dilute with anything, although it does make the wicks gum up a bit faster. To me the real downside of it is vg is so thick it takes a while to get it into and out of the syringe.

I use high VG also in my diy. In a 30 mil bottle I use 4mils of flavor and 26 mils of pure VG. I have never had a wicking problem using cotton. When I'm in a chain vapin kind of mood, I vape the VG pure. It has a sweet taste to it that I like. I have wizard labs VG and I do not use nicotine at all. All 0mg for me! In my REO grand it does take 3 seconds longer to squonk, but that is the only difficulty I have noticed since switching to DIY.
Finding what works for YOU is key to enjoying vaping and staying away from analogs!!!!!!
