was looking into all the great informative threads here I can make pretty much anything I set to learn about so was thinking about looking into DIY e juice I tend to be simple yet picky if that makes any sense lol plus I would have more control over how much of what i have as tastes seem to constantly evolving and matureing in my vaping experience

just making sure I got my list of needs in order before I make a final decision

needles n plungers various guages and sizes for acurate measuring
bottles
caps
mixing containers
gloves

PG nic juice
VG no nic juice ( I use mostly pg juices now just like a hint of VG probably like 10-15 %)

Flavorings --- just normal otc baking flavors ok or anything i need to watch out here for I use lorann for much of my baking and saw it mentioned

Lorann flavors are OK - beware of the oil based ones, though.

Personally, I use Flavor West and Perfumer's Apprentice.

You might want to get some 3ml and 6ml pippettes - VG is a bear to use with syringes even if using a large bore needle.
A small funnel is also handy for transferring liquids to bottles.

I'm assuming you're saying beware of the oil based because they don't dissolve well?

There is the mixing issue with some oils and bases, yes. There is also a faction on here that is anti-oil and those who are pro-oil, like me, also know that the %'s are drastically lower. So no matter if you are for or against, beware.

(I'm only "for" mint and orange oils. I don't "do" coffee or tea extractions so have no stance on those oils. I'm against most other oils though.)

I just purchased all of my DIY supplies this week. It initially seems like a lot of stuff, but it really isn't.

Bunch of 3ml dropper bottles for testing
Smaller gauge syringe needles for pg and flavors, Largest gauge you can find for VG
Glass bottles for storing your juice
Funnel so you don't make a mess

Good luck with your new adventure!

Be VERY careful with ALL frlavors.. some are not good for inhaling. Check on the website to make sure.
And PLEEZE be careful with nic juice. It is too easy to get careless with it.
Good Luck!
