New To DIY

Hi all-
Well, Im sick of paying $20 for 30ml from my local vape shop, or even $10 online. I Just got my first dripper a few months back and I am guzzling up juice. Anyway, after a few week of reading from ecf and going halfsies with my father-in-law, I'm ready to place my first order. Just to get a few things out of the way, he vapes 12mg nic and I do 3-4mg, both at a 30/70 pg/vg plus we like the same flavors deserts and cereals. I planned or buying one liter of vg, 500ml of pg and 500ml of 75mg vg base nic. Does this seem like a wise bulk ratio? Also, I planned on getting flavors from TPA and One on One. I haven't seem too much posted about One on One but I like their cereal selection and figured i'd give em and try. Any input would be appreciated

As long as you have some pg, vg, and nic base you can get where you want to go. I'd suggest ordering from somewhere that you can get small bottles of flavorings from multiple makers in the beginning to find out what you like. All the vendors flavorings are different to a point. strawberry from TFA, LA, CAP will all taste different is what I mean. Get you some bottles to put your mixes in, some syringes and blunt tip needles for measuring and start out making small batches so that you don't end up flushing huge amounts of stuff that sounded good in your head but ended up tasting bad. It's a slower process but mixing small, single flavor batches will give you an idea of what each flavor tastes like on its own and will help you determine which flavors will make good mixes. Don't get too crazy ordering flavors in the beginning. Try to minimize your order to flavors that you know you and your father-in-law like. You can add flavors you'd like to try later

And make sure you are writing/typing your recipes down somewhere. It's the biggest BS ever when you make a great mix and have no idea how you did it. Also be sure to label the bottles as you mix them. You may think you'll be able to smell/taste a difference but you'd be surprised how untrue that is.

You can keep notes directly within each recipe, print labels, keep a record of the last time you made the juice, maintain inventory levels of your product and on and on...

From what I've researched in preparation to do my DIY 75mg/ml nic is quite good. I have a bottle of 75mg/ml nic arriving tomorrow to DIY my first ever batch of juice.
(Juice calculators figure in whatever potency of nic you're using)

If it were me, I'd get the nic in vg.. You're shooting for 70 percent vg.. flavors are pg generally, even if you only had 15 percent flavor that would leave 15 percent for nic.

Im def getting vg nic..I played with a calculator to see what kind of percentage I would need to order. I was gonna go with 25mg nic at first but then I realized that I would be going through the nic pretty fast so I bumped it up to 75...so you all say 100?I'm cool with that I just don't want to have any one ingredient run out before the others, if that makes any sense.

Good to hear. Yeah, I hate to ask questions that I am sure have been answered before, but my research time is limited.
