i want to start making my own juices but had a few simple questions.

1. what nic strength should i use if i want 3mg-2mg? i was planning to go with 12mg nic but wondering if im better off going at a higher concentrate i mean the price isn't a huge difference.

2. how much flavoring should i buy? i was looking at a website called wizard labs and they only seem to sell 4oz flavorings at most and they are pretty pricey as well like $11 for the 4oz wondering if this will last a LONG time ( i am looking to go max VG/like a 80/20 blend or 90/10 blend.)

3. how much flavoring should i put in a batch or say 30ml? and is their a way to tell easily if i need to put more or less for better flavor.

4. Do i need to let it steep and if so how long?

everything else i somewhat know about it's easier to understand but these leave me questionable.

Here is some research reading I would recommend you go through before purchasing anything. It will give you a better understanding of the termonology and basics of DYI and better help you to formulate more pointed questions on what you may still not understand.

DIY always starts with good research.

My blogs will give insight into all aspects of DYI, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice.

Then read hoosier's blogs. These blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives.

Then read Boletus's blog's. These blogs concentrate on formulation of nicotine bases regarding proper calculations methods for figuring Nicotine concentration as well as safety.

Then read Ginger's book "E-Cigarettes 102: DIY E-Liquid". It is a book which I've contributed to that delivers an in depth easy to follow guide in the art of DYI.

I recommend viewing VPLive Vape Team Episode #82: DIY Safety and bookmark it for future reference. It explains safety in all aspects of DYI.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.

Might want to try the search function in upper right hand corner of this post. Could type in "What does 3 mg. mean".
Happy reading.
