Hi everyone!

So I have been reading these forums for a while now but really started delving in today after deciding to go for the purchase. I decided to go with the GO GO. However, the Cig Easy site is out of stock at the moment. Does anyone here know how long it has been out of stock and usually how long it takes to replenish stock?

Or, if anyone has a better recommendation for a newbie, please bring it on.

Riva 510 or Ego since it will be compatible with all of the 510 stuff from multiple vendors. 510 is the most popular threading. Those are the most used fat-battery models on the forum.
E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings

I keep hyping up about it over and over and strongly agree the most 'standard' and common model with the most easily available parts and accessories,
yet,
at the same time big enough to match cigarettes puff-for-vapor AND give you reasonably decent battery charge time and durability.
I'd go Ego but then I do think 510 does 'easily welcome' transitions (size, shape etc).

Mind you, I don't find the Ego unreasonably big or cumbersome at all either. Compared to a cigarette then ya it feels weighty at first but the then it vapes strong for hours.

Go-GO looks interesting. Not sure exactly what it is 'backwards compatible' with or not with? I suspect it does vape big and last long,
but,
will it feel like your carrying around a big heavy .... and will that throw off the person used to a cigarette and nothing else yet?

A few opinions I can offer you:

You can get an eGo starter kit at Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store., or you can go all out and get the Go Go at Welcome to NHaler! now, as they are in stock. But the eGo is pretty formidable for a starter vaper, so you could also try the Joye 510 starter kit from cignot. And starting vaping with a Go Go would be like going from a tricycle to a Harley Davidson, IMHO. LOL! But the choice is all yours.

I second the eGo (or the Riva510 lite bundle kit from liberty flights - it's the same model basically but made by a different manufacturer). Both use the 510 threading, which is easily the most supported and allows you to use your e-cig in so many different ways; cartridges, cartomizers, tanks, clearomizers, LR atomizers/cartomizers, vapemates, map tanks, more.... The Riva510 lite bundle is just $30 at liberty flights when you click on the 20% discount button.

Because the Riva starter kit is so inexpensive I also recommend trying out a drip tip and some Boge 510 cartomizers too, this way you can try your new kit several different ways and decide which way you like best. MOst vapers like both dripping and cartomizers depending on the situation.

My only concern with go-go (thought they seem to work well) is that afaik they are not compatible with anything but their own system.

I don't have any experience with the go-go other than reading. It's pretty new and I wouldn't be all that sure about it catching on though it does have some loyal fans. The eGo-T did too and some of the go-go fans were once eGo-T fans. So, I'm not sure that says a lot.

However, I don't think the go-go is a great choice starting out. You need to find the right juice and nic levels. That go-go takes a crazy amount of juice and I'm not sure how you'd go about getting it out, if you put something in there you couldn't live with for a day or two.

Thanks for all of the replies. Since last night, I have changed my mind about the Go Go, so checking in here with your suggestions has helped. After sleeping on the GO GO (haha) I agree it may be too much to begin with since I don't know anything at all about what juices I may like. Or even how the darn thing works for that matter. I do need something that will have a longer battery life because I am away from home traveling for a long part of the day most days.

I have smoked Marlboro lights for 20 years now and I want to stop. I stopped smoking twice (for a year each time), and for reasons beyond me, I started back each time. :( Worst mistake ever! I have been trying to quit for the last year and have failed each time. I have used patches, gums, etc. I have decided I want to save my cigarette money for a nice vacation.

So my search continues for the best starter e cig. There are so many, it gets so confusing. :p

Also, can someone list for me exactly what I need to order? I would imagine I would need more than just the starter kit. Right? I am ordering the Riva 510 today. I understand what the cartridges are. The other things i.e. "cartomizers, tanks, clearomizers, LR atomizers/cartomizers, vapemates, map tanks, more...." is confusing although I have tried reading about each one. It all seems to run together. I'm a hands on kind of girl. :p

If you were considering the go-go, I must assume that you aren't one of those that insist on something that resembles a cigarette. That's good because it's a mistake IMO.

Others have recommended the same thing but, I'll put in a vote for the Riva 510 kit on Liberty Flight. It's a great value. It comes with two batteries and that should be plenty for all day. Along with it, get some additional atomizers, an extra pack of carts, a drip tip, and a pack of Boge cartomizers. All 510 compatible. Don't mess with LR stuff yet. Also get some juice and get different flavors and nic levels in small sizes. For a relatively small investment this gives you a lot of different options to try so you can find what best suits you.

The Riva is the same thing as an eGo but, a different and some say better brand. It will take all the eGo accessories from the mega carts to the tank. No need to get that exotic yet though.

Thanks Mickey! That's me....exotic.
No. I am not looking for something resembling a real cigarette. My addiction is mostly the act of smoking. Especially while driving. That's why I think this vapor thing may help me. No...I take that back, this will get me off cigarettes. (Positive thinking)

Your thinking might be positive but, it's not necessarily the best way to think of it. You aren't quitting smoking. You are switching to vaping. Some people can vape once and never look back. It's a longer transition for most of us. For the first few weeks go ahead and have a few smokes a day, if you need to. You'll be busy finding the right juice and nic levels. After a few weeks, you'll probably find you don't really enjoy those cigarettes all that much. Then it's a minor transition.

Thank you, Mickey. I can see this forum will be very supportive during my trials and thereafter.
Baby steps. Right?
I am on the Liberty site now flipping back and forth trying to figure out what to order. I'll get there. I'm sure you remember how foreign this can seem. :)

Mouse, I have no idea. I don't think it has an adapter though?

This is what I have so far. I haven't picked juices yet because I need to research the differences in them. Clueless!

Electronic C EM Riva 510 Black EM 510 - Single $4.99 2 $9.98
Electronic C Boge Cartomizers Boge 510 Cartomizer 2.0 Ohm (Black) - 5 Pack $7.99 1 $7.99

Yep 510 is a good idea for a starting e-cig

either a 510 system
or eGo
or Riva

( the eGo and Riva have larger batteries and can handle more )

I started with a eGo-tank, then tried dripping, and am now using a low resistance cylinder mega atomizer and mega cartridge.

It is vapiing fantastic, and I didn’t have to spend a lot of money trying different things.

If the Gogo comes with a 510 adapter now then it should be fine. I think someone's first ecig should have a variety of widely available parts (attys, carts, cartomizers) and not be dependent on one or two vendors and incompatible threading.

But it doesn't at least not yet as far as I know. I had heard that Drew was looking into making one, but///// so far it is still only usable with his cartos.

Try a kit...for 29.99 with 20% discount or the Riva 510 SE edition is nice too.
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

Make sure the top of the page says 20% off whole order, if not go to home page and click on the link at the top left of page.

Yeah. That's where I am. I don't think it adds the discount until check out? Maybe? So, do I have what I need now, or would just the starter kit do me to start with without the other stuff? I dont want to get started and run out of stuff. :)
