How can I calculate how many puffs is equivalent to one cigarette?
I honestly don't think you can - sort of another "apples to oranges" thing. From your previous post I see you've chosen several different nic levels, which is probably a good idea. That difference will make each "equal" puff on each juice contain an unequal amount of nicotine. There are other variables as well: with vaping, most of the nic is absorbed in the mouth, throat & nose, rather than the lungs. Also, burning tobacco has chemicals (ammonia for one) which serve to kick-start the nic hit in the brain, essentially free-basing nicotine. In addition, tobacco smoke contains other alkaloids besides nicotine, and as far as I know it's unclear what effect, if any, they have on an individual's smoking experience.
So the short answer is, I wouldn't worry about it. Just vape when you feel like vaping & stop when you feel like stopping. If you overdo it you'll maybe get a headache, which will clue you in that it's time to take a break for it for a little while. Mainly, try to be patient & learn all you can, and as someone said on the Forum, "Trust the vape". You'll find flavors you like & the nic strength that works best for you, preferred delivery devices, etc. And, every cigarette you DON'T SMOKE is a "WIN"! Finding what works for you is a process & will require some trial & error, but that's part of the fun of it all. When you buy something you don't like don't think of it as "money wasted", what it really is is an educational expense... and new knowledge is always a bargain!
Best wishes & Happy Vaping!
