I dont even know where to find a tractor supply store.

But anyways my set up is gonna cost as much as a kit now that i think about it.

AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | eGo Dual Coil Cartomizer Starter Kit

So I am also looking at that one, and i should be able to switch to a clearo if i dont like the carto right?

Yes, good kit. You can switch between attys, clearo, carto, tanks- Make sure they are "510" threading, or ego compatible- most are.

The Mega carto hold alot of juice- might still want to get those T-2 or something to test juices with.

Those T-2 are awesome, and you don't need a syringe to fill them. Just unscrew the top, pour in liquid, make SURE the head is tight (sometimes it loosens when you unscrew the top) screw the top back on.

I've been using them quite a while now on an ego twist.
Good flavor and easily & cheaply replaceable heads (just screw off one and screw on the other) I very much love them.

You have to "tip" them between vapes to keep from getting dry hits. but it soon becomes habit. I even "tip" my cartos now, just got used to doing it on the T-2 ;)

Pick up one and a couple extra heads when you order your kit. You won't be sorry. You'll be back for one for every flavor you like. I promise. :)

Much depends on your lifestyle IMHO. I started with and still use Volts. As a former 40 year 3 pad smoker, I needed something that I could carry everywhere. I also think that cig-sized or 650 sized helped me quit because they were similar to what I was addicted to...there is so much more to this addiction than simply nicotine. Pocket friendly is also a must for me, and most clearos are just not. Cartos are. On juice, I started at 24mg but quickly (after 2 months or so) had to taper down to 12-15mg. I might point out that my wife, because she can carry everything in a purse, is completely flexible with battery sizes and clearos vs cartos...while I rely only on pockets (yeah, I have man bags, but thats not the point.)

I recently pieced together kits for my step-daughter and her hubby that came in at under $100:
    Genuine Joye 1000 mAh eGo Twist battery X2 from GoodProphets.com $27.99 X 2 = $55.98
Genuine Joye USB charger fast charger for eGo also from GP $4.75
USB wall adapter from GP $3.80
Large eGo Zipper case from GP $3.99 (nice sale)...now $6.99
    5-Pack of 510 cartos from HoosierECigs $6.99
    Stardust 3 rebuildable X 2 from HoosierECigs $4.99 X 2 = $9.98
eGo carto tank from MadVapes $7.99
    Replacement carto for tank X 2 from MadVapes $1.79 X 2 = $3.58
Add all that up and it's $100.06 (add about $9.00 for shipping so, less than $110.00). Add juice (and maybe a drip atty) and you're rockin' it!

Don't forget to look for coupon codes, they can save you big. 10% off at MadVapes with code holidayshopping. 5% off at Hoosier with code 5off.

EDIT: Note that I purchased some of these from specific vendors because of quantity discounts, etc. but I know that the eGo Twists GP sells are genuine Joyetech (suspicious of those at altsmoke since they offer them in colors Joye does not make...only black, stainless, and pink from Joye).

I have decided to look at other suppliers due to DizGrizz' post. I really think I will get an eGo or a Kanger.

510 Vision V2 Clearomizer eGo Tank Kit

Was looking at that, dont know how good it is really.

Also I smoke "other stuff" so I was wondering if anyone can confirm that an Atmos Battery is compatible with Ego C Cartomizers or maybe Clearoimizers.

This video might answer that question. It sure seems like it might fit ecig stuff, kind of pricy tho.

How can I calculate how many puffs is equivalent to one cigarette?

I honestly don't think you can - sort of another "apples to oranges" thing. From your previous post I see you've chosen several different nic levels, which is probably a good idea. That difference will make each "equal" puff on each juice contain an unequal amount of nicotine. There are other variables as well: with vaping, most of the nic is absorbed in the mouth, throat & nose, rather than the lungs. Also, burning tobacco has chemicals (ammonia for one) which serve to kick-start the nic hit in the brain, essentially free-basing nicotine. In addition, tobacco smoke contains other alkaloids besides nicotine, and as far as I know it's unclear what effect, if any, they have on an individual's smoking experience.

So the short answer is, I wouldn't worry about it. Just vape when you feel like vaping & stop when you feel like stopping. If you overdo it you'll maybe get a headache, which will clue you in that it's time to take a break for it for a little while. Mainly, try to be patient & learn all you can, and as someone said on the Forum, "Trust the vape". You'll find flavors you like & the nic strength that works best for you, preferred delivery devices, etc. And, every cigarette you DON'T SMOKE is a "WIN"! Finding what works for you is a process & will require some trial & error, but that's part of the fun of it all. When you buy something you don't like don't think of it as "money wasted", what it really is is an educational expense... and new knowledge is always a bargain!

Best wishes & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

I know what you mean. Since vaping is a lot more accessible and fun, I tend to overvape.

I remember this one time, I was sampling Juices at the Misty Mountain store in Raleigh and I got so dizzy, I had to sit down for 15 minutes.

I started on 36 and 24ml juice. This is a fine level if you take one or two hits and put it away. If you are going to chain-vape, (which I do) it's better to get lower nic level juice. I ordered 12ml juice and when it comes, I'm going to switch to that.

Two weeks ago I was in the same situation you are. I did decide to hear some advice from more experienced user. This way I started with a Ego-C kit. After two days got tired from the leaking problems and bought a Vivi Nova kit and a Ego Twist battery. After that I bought a lot of little things (just for my curiosity sake). I am very satisfied with the Vivi Nova and the Twist. Any way I just ordered one ZMAX to start myself on some high voltage gaping.

THE ATMOS RAW (RX) USED AS GRENCO SCIENCE G PEN & JOYETECH EGO-C E-CIG - YouTube

This is kind of old but I just discovered that the Atmos RX can be used as an e-cig with an odd combination of adapters (think Frankenstein's ego).

First though, I think buying anything from Atmos would be very frivolous; the one I was just given is nothing but a 650mah ego style battery with a near obsolete 610m connector. With that in mind, you basically get Atmos' ceramic vaporizer to stick on it for $45 more than what you'd normally pay for a like battery from ego. Given the fact that it doesn't even produce decent vapor unless I use a 1.7ohm dual coil cart, the rip-off would be even more sore.

Anyway, I had an old ego-510 adapter laying around that sort-of threaded into the crazy connector of the Atmos, but alas, none of my 510 hardware worked. I then plugged a 510-808d adapter to the extended end and hooked up the aforementioned dual coil cart, and voilà, a mildly satisfying vapor spewed forth. Sounds odd, but nothing short of that combination did anything but light up the far end of the Atmos.

So for roughly $75 you can piece together a contraption that might work (I'm not entirely sure the ego-510 adapter is ever coming off), or you can drop $20 on the ego cousin and expect better (and prettier) results.
