Hi ya'll!

I just made my first purchase tonight after carefully reading these forums and contemplating a purchase for a week or so now, I decided to go with the 510. I bought the $45 starter kit from innovapor, I'm a little upset it only comes with 1 attie but I'm just wanting to test the waters. Wife is pregnant now and refuses to quit smoking, so while I know E-cigs are also not recomended during a pregnancy as nicotine is known to cause birth defects, if she's going to smoke anyways I figure the least she could do is vape instead of inhaling all that other harmful stuff, so hoping she'll enjoy it as well as myself. I'm looking forward to not having to ash analogs and hope I made a good investment:D

welcome to the forum

a suggestion for the prego wife

try and convince her to vape a non-nicotine liquid when she can - it's likely much safer then straight nicotine vaping

and if she really has to then let her vape some nicotine when the placebo stuff doesnt work

tell her its better than a baby with a cleft palette

I guess I was lucky. I smoked during both of my pregnancies and the only complications was low birth weight. This was over 30 years ago and not much was said about smoking during pregnancies. I quess I was really lucky that my children didn't have any complictions.

I think If I got pregnancy during the time I would just have to quit now that we know what complicatons could arise. If she has to smoke I think ecig would be better than analogs even though it still have nicotine whick in it self can cause problems.

Hopefully everything will work out fine.

You could always cut her nicotine down progressively until you get to 0. When I used to smoke cigarettes, I found the act of smoking itself was more addictive than the nicotine. It's just the habit of holding a stick in your hand, taking a drag and feeling the smoke hit the back of your throat.

Maybe you can get into DIY juicing and come up with a pickles and ice cream flavor. :p

Thanks for all the replies guys, yea she's been smoking since she was 12 and 27 now so I know it's going to be hard to get her to just straight up quit, and no 'smoking cessation' product is going to work, but if I can get her to VAPE instead of SMOKE during this pregnancy I think it would be a LOT better then continuing to smoke cigarettes. I like Josh's idea, it's actually what I was planning on trying, start with the high nicotine dosages so it's as close to a real cigarette as possible while feeding her addiction and gradually move her down to the lower nicotine level cartridges and eventually hopefully 0. Thanks for the replies guys, looking forward to getting my first start up kit!
