Welcome to the forum and congrats on your quit. This truly has been a life changing experience for me, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
The kit your looking at seems like it would be a great up grade for you. I had started with a mini similar to yours also then went to the eGo. It's a great option, keep in mind that it isn't cartomizers like your accustomed to, but you can buy them else where if the tank doesnt work for you.

Honestly, any eGo/kGo/e-Power type device, (they're all similar), will be an improvement from what you've been using.
However...The unit you're looking at is the equivalent of an eGo-T. If you look around here, you see lots of complaints about these "tank systems". Leaking, muted flavors, burnt plastic taste, etc., etc., etc.

These "tank systems" like the eGo-T, the 510-T, and the one you're looking at are an attempt to revive the old obsolete atomizer/cartridge system that was such a failure a couple years ago. It's also a way to hook you into buying their tanks and their atomizer. Truth be told, most people end up tossing those tanks and atomizers and just using regular eGo or 510 type cartomizers or clearomizers.

There is nothing wrong with the battery itself. The problem is that you're paying extra for all that stuff they hang on the end of it. Stuff that isn't very good and just costs you more money.

Look for a unit that uses the same type of battery. In the U.S., there is the kGo and e-Power. The difference is that the e-Power is more economical because it uses separate batteries, like a flashlight would. Then take the money you save and buy some low resistance cartomizers and/or Vision Stardust or CE4 clearomizers. You'll save yourself a lot of frustrations and trouble if you go that way. I'm sure you can find the equivalent of the kGo or e-Power in Europe, although it might have a different name. You might want to take a look at it so you'll recognize it when you see it.

did anyone else feel in over their heads when they started vaping?
there seem like so much to take in, about atomisers, cartomisers, ejuice..etc.

its a bit daunting at first

i've been vaping for 6 months, and things are still going over my head. lol Seems like newer, better equipment hits the market everyday. I've learned to settle in with what I started with - which works. I'll move up when it doesn't. Ok, I'm currently moving up, but it's a baby step compared to more experienced vapers, I'm sure!

Papa, as sailorman says, the T type tanks have had a lot of bad feedback. If I was you, I'd go for an ego/Riva with cartomisers. Have a look at this one that I recommend to lots of folks - but ask at check out for the atomisers to swapped for cartomisers & you'll get 10 cartomisers which makes it a good deal from a very good helpful UK supplier - Use discount code ECF10 for 10% off -

Also, check out these other good UK suppliers -

And for the absolute basics of understanding e-cig components check out this thread -

Yeah, I know there is tons of better info for newbies here on ECF, but it can be a lot for folks to plough through :)

Papa, welcome to the Forums! I'm not going to recommend a specific model. Instead, I'd suggest considering what you say you want. First, you want a larger battery life. That means look to the mahms. This is a rough measure of battery life. Some say that 100mahms=1 hour vaping time. Does it? I have no idea. What I do know is a battery with a larger mahm will go longer without recharging than a battery with a smaller one. The second thing you want is more vapor/greater throat hit. Okay, throat hit is largely a function of nicotine strength, but to some degree vapor warmth and quantity plays a part as well. Vapor warmth is a function of the voltage of the battery and the ohms of the atomizer/cartomizer you use. The degree of vapor warmth can generally be determined by looking at the amps generated by drawing. Since I'm an accountant, I like formulae,so here we go:

Amps=volts/ohms

The higher the amps, the more heat given off; hence more vapor warmth. Oh, and more heat means more vapor, all else being equal. Can you go too far? Definitely. The best explanation I've seen on this subject is done by Steeljan. Here's the link:

Low Res, High Volts, 3.7V, 5V, VV? Wtf?!! - YouTube

A final consideration: the more amps, the more battery drain. So the standard wisdom of 100mahm = 1 hour of vape probably wouldn't apply.
So, for example, I'm using an E-power 14650 (I know I said I wasn't recommending a model. It came in this morning and I'm still doing a happy dance. So shoot me, lol). It has 1060mahm batteries and draws at a consistent 3.7 volts. I'm using a 1.7ohm LR cartomizer on it. So that comes out to 2.18 amps, which for me creates a nice warm vapor. I've ordered some Boge 2.0ohm LR cartos to try next. They should put out a cooler vapor.
Am I suggesting you get an E-power? No. I love my unit so far, but you have to figure what best meets your needs. Figure out what's important to you, what your constraints are, do your research. Then make the best decision for you.
Enjoy the Ride!
