am i right in thinking a drip tip and atomizer replaces the cartomizer ? and i put the atomizer onto the battery then the drip tip on the atomizer and drip fluid thro to the atomizer ? sorry for all the questions

That would be how you drip and it eliminates the cartridge in a catridge attomizer set-up. A cartomizer is a bit different as it is a cartridge with a built in attomizer and can be used with or without a drip-tip. I recommend a drip tip as the cartomizer can get hot a drip tip would also be necessary if you decide to add a tank to the cartomizer such as a DCT (Dual coil tank). I hope I didn't confuse you.
Yes. That is one use for the drip tip. You may also find it more comfortable if you put it on cartomizers.
there is a cone in the set that goes on the cartomizer this is the mouth piece yea ? so the drip tip would replace this ?

think i will just get what i got listed plus a drip tip but not atomizer for now , if i dont like one of the flavours ill just have to lump it till the cartomizer is empty and ready for re filling with i different liquid lol

The cone is there mostly for visual appeal to transition from the "fat" battery to the "skinny" carto, although a tight fitting cone will restrict airflow to the carto. The drip tip goes directly in the atomizer or cartomizer. On an atomizer the drip tip allows you to drip into the atomizer without having to remove it. On a cartomizer it makes it more comfortable by cooling the vapor and reducing the amount of juice that may get to your mouth if you overfill. It also feels better on the lips than the metal walls of the carto.
You will never be able to get all the flavor out of a carto, especially with strong flavors. It is better to dedicate a carto to one flavor. You may be able to clean the cartos, but I was never too successful with that.
The cone ? What I am picturing is either the decorative ego cone that will thread onto the outside of the attomizer around the battery to give the set-up a sleeker profile or it's a tank attomizer. In any event it is not the mouthpiece. If it is a tank attomizer than n ego type tank would then be inserted and the ego tank has the mouthpiece. If it's the decorative ego cone it would just slide over top of the 510 attomizer and the drip tip would actually be placed onto the 510 attomizer in place of a cartridge.

Add a drip-tip and maybe a different resistance cartomizer. If your kit comes with SR (standard reistance 2.5ohm+) then get some additional LR (low resistance 2.0ohm-) and/or vice versa that way you can see which suits you better. I find the LR 1.5 or 1.7 were preferable to me when I used the ego batt's. But it looks like you are well on your way. You may also want to order a juice sampler so you can try different ratios (PG/Vg and nic) and flavors. Good luck
think ill stick with the standard carts to begin trying to keep the initial cost down , up to 50 quid already lol ive put a drip tip on the list tho

PG: thinner, less vapor, more TH from nicotine, lets more of the flavor through.
VG: thicker, more vapor, dulls the TH form nicotine and flavor.
