Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to hear you're having a problem with your vivi nova. I have a few of these and have never had this happen. I assume you have tried to reinsert the pin, but haven't had any luck. I'm not sure how the pin is held in there. Just looking at your picture, I can't help wondering if maybe there is supposed to be an o-ring or something that is missing. Personally, I think you may just have to replace the vivi nova.

hey, if you see in the pic, that grey rubber in the middle seems to be the o-ring, but somehow doesnt stay inside, it keeps falling out

Saprefm1....From my limited experience with adapters and modding, you will not be able to get the post to stay in without putting the o-ring (gromment?) in first.

Take the o-ring off. Take a close look at it(with a magnifying glass). If it is torn in anyway,it is junk. torn rings cause shorts, shorts are death to a battery. FYI that ring looks like the ring in a 510 carto. Do you have any old ones?

Now the hard part, putting the ring in hole,(take the nova all apart),take a icepick and and puch down on the ring. While holding it down, fold it over with small tweezers, seat in the hole. This is not easy!!!!, sometimes you can do this with a small screwdriver, etc,
and poke it in. It seats half on one side, half on other side of the seat.

Put drop of juice on the pin,and gentility push it in. Check with a muti-meter? Short are death to battery.

Hope this helps. Good advice to have extras.

Oh and welcome to the forum

last night i managed to diy something, taking the rubber from a cartridge, the top part and cutting it down to size, being very very precise as to not break the rubber, cutting it down to a O-ring size

well i slipped it onto the pin then the grommet over that, it fits snuggly now but as u can see it stands a but out, but once i screw the battery on it looks clean and tight, btw no force was used when screwing the batter on, i can vape and it works well so far. hope it lasts. the pin also doesnt fall out anymore on its own and requires a bit of force to pull it out again.

Hi sabrefm,
Your pic is helpful. You either have on old version 1 Vision vivi nova, or a knock off vivi nova. I can tell because the air holes are on the base instead of down on the sides of the pin.
I suspect its a knock off and that's why you've had problems.

hi there, yep its def a knock off, i have requested a replacement, but it will take another month to get here. in the meantime i will use my stardust clearomizer and this broken nova on and off
