Currently have the Aspire Nautilus on my Itaste VV. Keeping burning through coils, and just not happy with the clouds i'm producing, seem to loose taste pretty quick, so I've decided to join the adult world of vaping and get a rebuildable.

I will hopefully be upgrading from the itaste vv soon here shortly as well. Looking into just getting a provari and being done with it lol

So currently in my checkout cart at FT is

ohm meter
Squabe reloaded style tank ( not sure if its a good first tank, looks neat and has airflow holes. If i should start with something else let me know.)
wire jig

Was looking at wires and seen mostly just premade ones, those worth getting or should i just build my own. If so what guage wire and wicks should i be picking up?

Anything else that I'm missing. Hate to get it all and be missing something

You are gonna need something with more power if you want a regulated device. Like a dna 30 or ipv2 . Or get a mech . At fast tech check out sentinel me they are like 10 bucks. For Kanthal I would suggest 28 or 30 gauge. You can get 100 feet for like 8 bucks on ebay/amazon .But make sure for the battery get a good battery like a sony vtc4

All the SQ-uape Reloaded tanks on fasttech are back ordered. My advise would be to get something in stock. or be prepared to wait. If your gonna order from fasttech be prepared to wait also shipping can be up to 4 weeks or longer.

If your going into rebuildables you should really learn to make your own coils. Check out Lightning Vapes — Lightning Vapes - Great Products, Lightning Fast Shipping! Silica Wick, Kanthal Wire, Stainless Steel Mesh, Ekowool and More! for kanthal wire 28g is one I use most. Use coupon code LV20 for 20% off.

Provari are overpriced and low powered IMO.

What Joel said, and go get some organic cotton balls. I'd personally skip the wire jig and just use a 5/64" drill bit. I've got one of the Squape Reloaded clones on the way as well. Should be easy enough. Definitely get a higher powered mod. Depending upon the resistance you wind your coils at and the juice you use you may want more than 20 watts. Get some good batteries, 30 amps seems to be the baseline (Sony VTC 4/5 or similar), and grab a pair of ceramic tweezers. Don't forget precision screwdrivers, dikes, or fingernail clippers, and drink lots of water to keep the flavor going strong!

Honestly i started out with a k100 that was given to me. I have tried many ego's and similiar devices and they just were not the vaping experience i was after. Spend $10 on an ohm meter or check out steamengine.org they have a nice coil wrap calculator thats accurate. Mech mods are not that complicated once you understand whats going on. I will say this if it wasnt for mechs i would not have quick smoking so im an advocate no doubt.

If you want the ease of vv/vw by all means go for it. imo whatever it takes to keep you off the analogs. I have a cloupor dna 30 and never really use it i personally just like mechs more.

We will all help you on ur journey no matter which direction you go! Most of us its a hobby and love everything vape related.

My best advise is try a cheap mech like a k100, get a battery with atleat 20amp discharge, 28g kanthal and some precision screwdrivers and nail clippers from the 99cent store.

And dont stress it takes alot to blow yourself up. Just a little common sense and you will be fine.

ok, well ordered the nemesis, got 100f of 28g, cotton bacon. squabe reloaded, ohm meter. ceraminic tweezers and pliers set. Now all I have to do is manage to find some damn batteries and a charger. which batteries seem to be a issue
Great start! I dont use pliers much since i have ceramic tweezers( they rock). As far as batteries go i would reccommend sony vtc4,vtc5( only difference between these sonys are the mah rating/ how long they last). AW batteries, Efest 2100 mah and 2500mah (purple ones), Lghe2 batts are nice. I would stay away from anything with the word fire in it trustfire, surefire ect..... Buy your batts from an authurized dealer if possible. So chargers i would say nitecore, efest luc, vp2 anyone of these will be good. I personally have a nitecore i4 it was cheap and works great and i had some extra cash for more batteries;)
