I know it was only #3 on your list, but in the EU Xylitol has been banned from use in soft drinks because of it's laxative effects. I would suggest you try using Ethyl Maltol or Stevia - EM's good for "rounding off" harsh edges - but add to mixes sparingly; it gives a candy floss flavor to your mix, but will make it bitter if too much is added, and may also mute certain flavors. For 10 ml I would add one or two drops only.

getting my ducks in a row and getting back to work on some more DIY juice - since the king cake worked out so well, going to work on a raspberry cream cheese filling, a beignet vape and start working on some fruit flavors...

Stevia believe it or not gives me the same reaction.
Plus:
I cannot handle the chemical taste/smell associated with PG or Stevia ect ect.
I am curious to know:
Is ethyl maltol going to carry that same chem taste? I am currently mixing with sucralose (flavor apprentice sweetner)

EM tends to be more of a 'smoother' than a sweetener, per se - adds some body to some mixes and rounds them out a little, but not so much of a sweet, really
And people wonder why I ask so many questions... Allll over the net it is touted as the most potent sweetner... Bloody hell.
I will stick with what I got!

I am in Toronto and ordered some flavours from Canvape when I started DIY. Fairly cheap, big selection and they ship quick. I highly recommend them.
One reason why I am so happy with my own DIY is because I only ordered flavours required for specific recipes I found on ECF, the TFA recipe book and other sources on the Internet. Ordering a bunch of flavours and just mixing away blind doesn't seem to end well often.
Also, I use Lorann Cotton Candy instead of EM or other sweeteners. I am very happy with the results and it is about $6CAD for a 30ml.

It isn't insanely sweet.
I made a juice with 15% strawberry, 5% vanilla custard and 10% cotton candy and it tastes great.
Only Lorann flavour I like/use. All the rest are TFA, Capella and Flavor West.
Fair enough.
I will order my norm sucralose along with cotton candy... cause really... Who doesn't like some good ole' cotton candy?
