Ok, THANK YOU! Now I get it. So there is nothing wrong with your gear, you just need someone who will make you some juice you like!
IF, you really want to go sub ohm, I won't talk you out of it.
BUT, if money is tight, might I suggest you look at some of you local vape shops and see if they will mix the juice you want? Or another online juice vendor? I order throughHeathers Heavenly Vapes, I tell them what flavor, what strength and how I want it mixed, I like 60pg/40vg for the throat hit.
What I'm getting at, only your juice has changed and this foray into subohm isn't going to bring the flavor back! That's why I've been asking what happened for so long! It worked, then didn't, what changed, the juice! So I suggest you find another vendor and have them make it the way YOU want it, and I think you'll be happy again!

ok.
Once again so you know the melo will not use the triton MINI coils.
If you want to buy the pico with the melo you can find them online for around $27 or so. Its a good deal. You will also need to buy batteries as these only run on battery's that you put in yourself. So look for good ones like the lg 18650 hg2
or look in the battery portion of ecf for good references on what to use.

Or she can make her own and then she will know what is in and make sure she can taste it. DIY is as easy as making your own coils, probably even easier.

Depending on how far the rabbit hole you want to go! I did it a few years ago trying to clone Mad Murdocks 710, I finally got it, but it was a lot of work and time!
I'm trying to get back into it again, but having a hard time getting something to replace my HHV's NET juices.

Look again at the DIY forum. There are others making their own 'Nets'. Have it pretty much down pat and they are very helpful in answering questions.

Does anyone think that the Subbox Nano would be a good mod for flavor??? I've read lots about leaking and nothing great about flavor? The Pico seems as if it would be more adaptable, usable with different tanks... I now understand that the Melo 3 and Triton Mini coils are not compatible. I guess maybe people are talking about compatibility with the Triton and not the Mini? That was a tease :(. I got excited for no reason... I don't need a bunch of different tanks... usually, I rotate 2 of the same so I have different flavors going at the same time.... Will subohming help me better TASTE my JUICE, or is that a misconception on my part??? I appreciate all of your help... I have great recommendations for new tanks, however, once I have a higher wattage device.... I ABSOLUTELY would not know what to do with the TC or at what temp to keep it? I would think I'd be able to just set it at 1 temp and leave it alone??? Advice?

No there's nothing wrong with my setup, I just want to give subohming a try in that I can taste the higher VG juices

The problem is not with your setup. It is your juice. The only way to fix that is
1. add more flavor to your juice
2. use less vg and more pg.

And what I'm saying is if you want flavor, stick with the higher PG juices. I looked it up for sure! Flavor and throat hit, higher PG, PG versus VG e-liquid and how to choose
If you want to play with sub ohm go for it, I do it a lot, I'm just saying it's not going to help you in your flavor chase. Sorry. But with a higher PG juice I think you'd enjoy it better.
VG is for making big clouds, the in thing right now, not big flavor! I'm afraid if you chase this dream you are going to be even more disappointed.

If you do get a pico you don't have to use the TC. You can use it in VW mode just like the istick. And still use the melo min in VW even if the coil says .03 ohms. And you can use the mini nautilus on the pico also, just like the istick.

Well maybe you won't be scared after this? It's really that easy!
Basic, basic, basics for building a coil.

Sorry but that is scary. :D G'luck.

p.s. Seriously, few today build to control for vapor density. Def not most manufacturers. Precision density requires a microcoil. I show folks how to use strain to lock in that precision. But I've played the hardware game myself 'cause I like shiny and I'm skeptical like that. Then sometimes from time to time we get lucky and it just works. So not faultin' anybody that's for sure.

Oh GREAT.... that's what I'm used to VV/VW. Ive never used a device with TC, so no experience with it. I didn't know if it came preset.... hopefully it will. In going to get the Pico and am looking in to the other Eleaf tank you recommended... thank you... For my sister, Im thinking about a gift and thought that a simple Subbox may be nice. I've been trying to get her more into vaping so she's ALL the way out of smoking.

That was to show how easy it can be done, nothing more. The people in that section made it out to be rocket science, they'd never tried and were skeered.
I've played the game as well, it never ends well! But you can't help the helpless.

Well you put the bait out there saw. Sometimes you get more than a nibble.

:D Good luck.

p.s. Just glad I survived that scawwyy "hurricane" 'cause I ignored Shep and hit the Elbo Room instead.
You also have to remember, not that long ago, that wasn't a bad looking coil! I've built gennies that looked a lot worse than that, but vaped dang good!
It wasn't but the last year or two things got fancy.

I do, I do. No, don't get me wrong. I like to try it all myself. That's my point. And I still tie a good overhand knot now and then (as I like to keep things honest and compare the vape). Introduced tension winding to encourage new vapers to get there quick. Plenty of time still to get in on all the good sales. When it's gone tho, if the suits have their way, there's gonna be a lot of peeps vapin' ketchup. So still castin' the net.

Fulljoy in five minutes, and a few to pulse oxidze and wick. A screwdriver with a known diameter will do for starters and some wire. Can't get cheaper.

We're really lucky to have so many tanks with RBA options, for now. When they herd us over to the all-in-ones what good will all these OEM coil devices do us? That's my concern for those comin' up now.

Good luck all. :)

We're good! And boy are you right about the suits, that's why I'm all rebuildable anymore!

Of course, you could have vapers tongue, in which case no new device set up will help. A battery is after all just a battery.
I thought of that, but after 2 year vaping? That seemed a bit long. I actually figured, the longer it was after quitting smoking, the better you would be able to taste things. My vapers tongue started in week 3 and lasted 3 weeks. I just changed to a more pronounced flavor. I think fruit explosion and ripple ice cream (which also go great together-- like caramel apple and pear).
