New to the vaping world. Could use advice.

I bought a smoktech ego kit and a dual coil tank a week ago. My first PV. I could use some advice on the tank. I used the carto that came with it and it was decent for about a tank full and then it started to taste kind of burnt and not much flavor. The one it came with was the single hole ones. Ive read that those have a tenancy to do that. Would i have better luck with the triple holed ones? Also, any other advice on how i could make my vaping experience better (not that it has been bad so far).

It depends if you are using a thick juice or not. Three holes is better for thick juice and one hole is better for thin juice. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in as I am still pretty new to vaping.

The cartomizers that come with the DCT are famous for the hole being too small. If it worked for a tankful, you must be using thin juice because anything more than about 40% VG is too thick for the tiny hole in the stock cartomizer.

If you burnt the carto, toss it. It will never taste right. First, try to enlarge the existing hole. See how that works. You may have to punch a second hole or by a 2 hole carto. If it worked for a full tank with one hole, you probably won't need a third one. You might get by just enlarging the existing hole with a small nail or something. Keep an eye on it as you vape. You should be able to see a bubble come out into the tank every now and then as you vape. Also, make sure you fill the carto completely before you fill the tank and start vaping.

Sounds like the single hole does not work well with the juice you are using. The purpose of the tank is to keep the carto filler moist via the hole/holes in it. Could be a not so great carto. There are a lot of tank options out there so I suggest trying a few others. Also 2 holes are def better than one when it comes to tank cartos IMO...

Simple way to get a bit more juice to feed into the carto, take a few good hard draws without pushing the button. This will draw in extra liquid without extra holes that can lead to flooding.
