Well I've been digging around looking for ways to quit smoking at a few guys at work are using e cigs so I thought I would give it a shot. I have about 6 months back tried a disposable e cig one from a drug store which worked for a week and back I went to smoking. Issue was no Nicotine and withdrawals were so bad I could not focus so I used the nicotine inhaler with it. I found after just 3 days of use the thing fully died on me so I went on with the inhaler which once the weekend hit and I had a couple drinks I quickly ran to the store for a pack.

In all I'm looking for something not overly priced that will work out for a few months or possibly more to get rid of the smokes but I've been such a heavy smoker I need to figure out where to get Nicotine juice for it here in Canada. I get dizzy and out of it after half a day and as time goes on I am useless and spinning out of control until I get Nicotine in my system. I smoke about a half pack a day to a pack...It all depends on the day..lol.

I've read around so I have a basic idea of where to start I just don't understand all the extras, mods, batteries, and other half talk people talk about. I'm thinking the 510 T is a good start for me but I'm not sure what I should get with it as in extras to keep me going for a little. And does anyone know of a place in Canada to get Nicotine juice? I see it only in the States and have read people have been getting it held up in Customs.

Thanks,
A tired smoker

Thanks for the information!! I think I have most of the workings of it down. I just don't want to toss tons of things into a cart and buy then regret it later on. I'm just very ready to drop smoking and the horrible feeling of tightness and short of breath when I wake up or at work. I wish it was as simple as tossing the pack in the trash and not having to look for something to fill the craving. I will have to do a little more reading and make my purchase...

Thanks again!!

Welcome to ECF wizdumb!

You should get your post count up to 5 so you can post in the Canada Forum there should be some good info about nic-lilquids available there.

Also I would advise you to look into a eGo/KGO/Riva kit-they have superior battery performance than the standard 510s and most folk find they work much better for them.

The best advice I got was a KGO from Hoosier. The advice I received was to start out with something lower priced, and spend the money on cartomizers and finding the right juice. The KGO is a great starter kit, and the juices.... finding the right one really starts to add up so it was great advice! Some day I'll get a Provari but for now this is working for this former heavy Newport smoker.

I'm with enchanted. I started with a slim cig style and regret it, as I now have 3 different setups. I now have a KGO & couldn't be happier. Really wish I'd started with it, would have saved a ton of money. Very reasonably priced, and with the right juice & carto combo you won't miss those stink-sticks at all!!

i just wanted to stop smoking because i was having bad health effects and at ten dollars a pack in new york i was broke all the time
i tried a few places that sell ecigs and have stopped searching since i found the vapor 4 life xl 808, it has a long charge, and gives me a satisfying feeling so i no longer desire real cigarettes. i have been off real cigs now for 6+ months.
as far as nicotine juice that is a highly personal matter- for me i just want the cheapest that tastes reasonably well

Hi and welcome to ECF! I've been reading this site for about a week, and man oh man, there is so much valuable info here! Keep asking questions too, and you are bound to have your "Ah-ha!" moment and find what best suits you. Until then, may I recommend this current thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/284270-frustrated-consumer.html which I was just reading, and it gave me a couple of "Ah-ha!" moments myself! Vape on!!

Welcome! I use eGo batteries with vision ego (or Stardust) clearomizers. You also need a charger. That's it. Been vaping 2 years now and still happy with this setup.

For me it is a "simple solution to keep from smoking". For many others, there are lots of cool options for getting the "maximum vapor possible".

Start simple, and see where it takes you over time. And have fun with it! We all do!
