20-30 watts is WAY more than a MtL vaper needs! I've been vaping for a year and a half, and have NEVER gone over 11w -- usually stay around 9w with an RDA, or 10-10.5 with a kayfun.

For 20-30 watts, you need massive airflow or it's gonna burn; anything higher, you need HURRICANE airflow, or it's gonna burn. That kind of airflow does NOT lend itself to MtL vaping -- you really gotta HUFF it, or it's just not there at all.

Thanks for all of the info; you're extremely helpful. It sounds like maybe I should actually get a 20W iStick instead of the 30W?

One last thing regarding liquids- Is the 20W iStick w/ a Nautilus Mini appropriate for vaping liquid as thick as 20/80 PG/VG? I'd like to have the option of vaping liquid that thick occasionally...

I plan on vaping between 50/50 PG/VG and 30/70 PG/VG *most* of the time. My friend told me I should get the 20W instead of the 30W with the Nautilus Mini if I want to vape a 30/70 PG/VG and because I'm a mouth to lung inhaler...

I just want to get an optimal setup for my first device. =D

Just because he's a Mtl Vapor now doesn't mean that he won't change in the future and find the smaller APV is a dead end.
He's working at a Vape Shop, His job is to experiment and he might find that Inhaling Rich Clouds of Voluminous Vape directly to the lungs is where it's at! [Arguably]

Under 50 Watts is a dead end Cloupor Mini TC [Around $40.00] 80 Watts is a sweet spot with a Cloupor Gt 80 [Small Form Factor] $48.00 and IP3LI at 200 Watts $75.00 will be the ultimate APV he'll ever want.
Prices based on what I saw at Angel Cigs.

No, the 20w is a terrible choice, because it won't "step down" -- with a freshly-charged battery, you'll be vaping at 4.2v, no matter what you set the wattage at; it will only go lower as the battery discharges -- that's why I never got one, but got an iStick30, because it *does* step down -- so I can vape at 8-9-10 watts, (or even as low as 5w) as I prefer. I suggested the CoolFire IV because it also will step down as low as 6w, it only runs maybe $5 more than the iStick30, and it's MUCH better quality.

I can't advise at all on tanks that use replaceable coils, I don't use them; nor on high-VG liquids, as I vape 85% PG.
