What's up guys and gals

Been trying to quite smoking real cigarettes by trying the Blu brand. They didn't have enough throat hit to sway me so now I'm going to try to get my hands of the Ego C Twist and vivinova tank but don't know where to start. I like the reviews I've seen so far. Anyone have good or bad thoughts about this product?

Thanks in advance.

Vivi nova is fine, but I personally like the protank better.

Ego twist is great.... but most people here will recommend the vision spinner.

Either way.... You are on the right track.

When you said blu has not enough throat hit, you actually mean: it has zero throat hit.

Congrats on your switching...

Yes on the ProTank, but try and find a ProTank 2. Same applies... get a genuine Kanger ProTank. Mt Baker carries genuine Kanger.

My Vape Store has one of the best deals going for eGo kits.

Watch out for Steam Turbine... he likes to vape chainsaws.

Cheers,
C

Twist and Spinners are a nice step up, while I like my Viva Nova some don't like the Viva Nova.

One thing to be careful of, anything that has any popularity in the Ecig world has clones. Not all clones are bad, but some are just outright junk. I would suggest you try to stay with either the Joyetech Twist, or the Vision Spinner, both do the same thing, the Spinner has an easier to read dial. Also with the Viva Nova, Vision is the original and seems to be better than many of the knockoffs.

Many people like the Kanger Evod and/or Protank, both of these also have clones, some good, some not so good. Something to consider is taking a look at MyVaporStore, they have a kit with genuine Twist/Spinners and Kanger clearos. You can mix and match the batteries and clearos to get an idea of what combo you like best. http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

They also sell Vision Viva Novas.

Just some suggestions. Good luck with your search.

Hi. And welcome to ECF. I spent a couple of weeks on these forums reading and watching Youtube videos. I was a 2 pad smoker for almost 45 years. Whatever you choose make sure you have backups. One available for use while the other is charging. I also bought a Blu and it was not enough for me, but lead me to seek more info and find ECF. I read about the different options and decided on the Vision Spinner because I wanted the ability to take advantage of the variable voltage (vv) rather than the static power of a regular ego battery. My reasoning was that I would be happy with the device longer before I would want to upgrade and I felt I needed the option of vv to really give vaping a chance.

I have been vaping for 18 days now smoke free and very happy with my spinners. With the 1300mah size one battery lasts me a full 24 hours, so one on the charger and one I am using. I also picked the Evod as my juice delivery device and I use a 510 atty to drip juices for tasting flavors. I am content with what I have and bought name brand so I have time to learn if I like vaping enough to invest more money on more expensive and more complicated devices.

I love vaping. The most challenging thing is finding a juice flavor that I enjoy enough to satisfy me all day. I have very little technical issues with my spinners and Evods and I like it that way. I find that after the first few days I was using the variable voltage depending on if I was vaping a fruit/sweet juice or a tobacco flavor. Variable voltage is a bit more expensive but not so much that it was not worth the extra $20 or $30 I spent to have that option. Now I can take a good 6 months to decide what I want to do next.

Any ego or Twist or Spinner will be better than cig a like like the Blu for allowing you more power and choices in your flavor choices and enjoyment of vaping. Just make sure you have enough backup to cover a full day so you do not get stuck with nothing while your device is charging.

Read on ECF and watch Youtube videos. It can be very confusing in the beginning. Ask questions here, you will get answers.

Right on everyone. I knew I could get on the right path. Thanks again and I will keep researching what everyone has told me and will tell me about. Can I order everything from one store or is it all parted together. Can any eliquid work in any ecig?

Eliquid is another can of worms, try samples from different places and resist the urge to buy large sizes at first. And many vendors carry either the Twist or Spinner or both. One place that has them and the Kangers along with Vision Viva Novas is MyVaporStore, certainly not the only place.

Look around and find what you want, sometimes prices vary quite a bit from vendor to vendor. Either google or use the link in the lighter blue bar towards the top of the page marked forum suppliers to check on different vendors inventory and prices.
