New to this.. I need something that ships long distance (I'm in Egypt)

Hello every one,
I've been smoking for 6 years.. and I decided it's time for a change, Vapping fits all my needs,

being in Egypt there's only one brand that's sold directly in store.. a UK made "intellicig", I know the brits make quality stuff, but i was thinking there might be a better brand i could order online..

My problem with the intellicig is that the cartridges are too steep price wise, 2$ for each, and i was told by the sales man that a cartridge is equivalent to 10 cigarettes,so an analogue pack equivalent is 4$, while the cigarette packs i smoke are 1.8$ a pack, so that's more than a double more strain on my limited monthly funds.. i was thinking of buying the e-juice , which comes in 18.3$ for a mere 30 mL. of liquid, don't know how much that actually weighs in normal cigarette count..so can't judge how economically feasible it is.. also the starter pack is 92$ , which i also feel is too steep for the basic starter kit of the brand..

so basically i'm looking for the best bang of the buck.. something that can be shipped cross continental, with reasonably priced refills or cartidges, and good battery life.. initial price isn't an issue, refills are..

Best Regards;

Marwan Hamed

I use blank Boge and Kanger cartomizers and keep them damp with thin juice (high PG juices, not VG) and get 10+ days use out of each

See if Liberty-Flights.co.uk ships internationally

I use their US shop a lot - they are a good shop, call things by their real names, state true information, state their warranties.

100mah of battery charge is about 1 hour of moderate vaping at standard resistance (low resistance aka low ohms attachments use charge faster)

Slim ecigs use standard resistance atomizers and cartomizers (about 2.5 to 3 ohms)

The fat battery model like Ego and Riva 510 and anything else with 450mah+ charge can use standard or the hotter low resistance stuff.

battery + atomizer + cartridge aka cart (ok for learning, but has some annoyances) - 3-piece models ship this way

battery tank atomizer + tank (some like these, atomizers expensive, about 50% who try don't like)

sealed manual battery + atomizer + drip tip (great for testing juices, vaping occasional juices)

battery + cartomizer (a disposable combined cartridge w/ internal atomizer coil. Keeps your flavors completely separate. most prefer these for the avery vaping of their main juice)

---

Since you are far from supplies you may prefer to use atomizer + cartridges. Cartirdges can be restuffed (a popular material in the US is a size U aquarium filter foam called Marineland RiteSize U Bonded Foam Sleeve for H.O.T. Magnum Filter Canisters. And buy spare atomizers if you use cartridges.

The reason cartomizers are most popular is every one is like a new atomizer coil. So your ecig is like brand new over and over. They keep flavors totally separate. No atomizer to clean, degrade or die. Most consistent vaping experience. More close up, won't suddenly dump 1/2 the juice the way a cartridge can.

Thank you,
I think i might go with the intellicig i found locally after all, using their ecopure e-liquid i've been doing some math, with reference to this thread:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/polls/6525-draws-puffs-per-ml.html

i counted 10 puffs in a normal analogue cigarrete, and assuming an averagr of 100 puffs per Ml, 30 ml gives as much puffs as 300 cigs, ie 15 packs.. so the liquid is starting to look much more convenient and much cheaper that the normal cigarette... (1.22$ per electric pack)
This will be a 3 part e-cig, I might as well buy a couple of spare atomizers,
one further question if I may, can't a use a normal piece of clinical grade cotton for stuffing the cartridge?

There's also something to note in the analogy between e-cigs and conventional combustion-able cigs, the fact that when I light a cig, i'm obliged to make it through all of it, meaning I feel I have the need of to smoke it all since i don't want it to go to waste, even though I actually had enough since the fourth or fifth puff, on the contrary e-cigs there's no obligation to take the whole 10 puffs, so actually i think the use of the e-cig would be much lighter in the sheer number of puffs as compared to regular smoking.. so my use might be cut down significantly from 2 packs of conventional cig. to one pack electrical cig.. a win win situation both health and financial wise..

Thank you for you continuous Help Sir,

If intellicig is what I think it is then it's not a great choice - like an M402 or M401. The actual juice cup is a fraction of the size of the filter-look end and you need a paperclip to push it up to add juice. If they sell any cartomizers for it there then those would hold more juice. But it works. I started on M402 and then M401 manuals for the first month of vaping.

Smoking a cigarette and vaping are very different things. With vaping, you generally don't get as much nicotine as with smoking. Depends on the amount of nicotine in the juice of course.
And even though you will be taking less puffs, you will probably be taking puffs more often. Since you don't need to go through the whole lightening a cigarette part.

I went for the ego, since I didn't feel like having to reload batteries every other hour. With the tank system, since I didn't want to deal with the trouble of refilling cartridges. Been using it for over a month now and I'm very content with it.
If I'm working at home (where I vape the most) a battery lasts me just a few hours short of a day, somewhere in the evening I need to change batteries. And I go through about 3 tanks a day.

You can also use the battery with cartomizers, if you are not sure which you are going to like the most, you can just order some cartomizers along. As those aren't very expensive. Or anything else, since a lot of things are made for the 510 fitting of the ego batteries.

And I believe most online stores ships long distance. Some US stores don't though. I think the china stores will be closest to you?

Welcome to ECF. I would listen to dormouse's advice. The Ecig you're looking at is way overpriced. In regards to a starter kit you not only want to consider price but also performance. Nothing worse than ordering an overpriced low quality Ecig and immediately realizing it's not what you need. Liberty-flights.com is a very reputable vendor with high quality products for a reasonable price. I always warn Vapers about purchasing an Ecig that does not clearly explain the type/ power of battery that comes with the kit. A's dormouse stated 100 mah = 1 hour Vaping so you want a battery with at least 850 mah- 1100 is even better. If you buy a starter kit from liberty you also have the option of upgrading accessories after you buy. Livery flights also has a 20% off coupon. I was a pack a day smoker and when I began Vaping was using 5 ml per day. I am now using 4 ml per day.

On my IPhone so I can't edit above post. If you buy from Liberty consider getting the 510 fitting A's it seems most popular. A Cartomizer will last you at least 1 week. You could also consider ordering from China BUT be wary of knock off clones. I would recommend either a Riva or an Ego. Both quality products that would satisfy your needs for a long time. A's for being cost efficient Boge Cartomizers are quality but the only way to truly be ecomical is to mix your own juice. I DIY my juice and am spending approx. $2.00 per 30 ml. To start though I would just order the premixed juice. In regards to batteries I would buy a manual- far more control over your vape, less chance of damage from juice and, unlike auto batts, won't activate from loud sounds. The starter kits from Liberty also have an on/ off switch. Anyone that has had an Ecig go off in their pocket will appreciate this feature.
Best of Luck to you, Vapoor.

Yep that's where I get my flavors. High quality, brand names and reasonably priced. Also has a extremely large selection. To save $$ on shipping I ordered flavors with a bunch of friends. We're very happy with price, quality and flavor. Understand the link given is for ready to use juice. I order their FLAVORS and mix my own but their ready to use juice is a really good price.

Another vote for checking on if liberty flights UK might ship to you, and on the Riva being an economical, decent, starter set.

For me only, I run about 4 days of pretty heavy vaping on a cartomizer before it is time to clean or throw out. Others getting a week is entirely reasonable, it ends up being how many ml you get through for a given power (voltage), which will in part depend on how thick the eliquid is.

For eliquid, before going to higher voltage devices I ran about 3 ml/day, for months, after having been a pack a day smoker for decades. Others report lower use, like 1 - 2 ml/day, but if you plan on 3 that should give you decent margin.

Do It Yourself absolutely knocks the price down, if you can obtain the nicotine base and flavors. In the US my total eliquid cost comes in at about $4/30ml, using a fairly large amount of good flavorings and making 20 mg/ml eliquid. For an absolutely new person, however, it is likely much simpler to start with premade eliquid. Figure out what works for you in terms of strength and flavors, then take a look at if you want to try DIY.

(Pretty common eliquid strength for full strength smokers is 24 mg/ml, and for lights smokers 16 - 18 mg/ml. This is just "average", some people need one level higher, or lower in their eliquid.)

Good luck!

Hi and welcome!
I share the same problem with you, being in Greece (I assume you have heard all about the financial issues that we are facing in my country) but I soon realized that if you have an internet access, then you are a citizen of the world.
I have searched and found at least a dozen of cheap e-stores that have everything that I need for my vaping habit and they ship internationally with very small charges. In this forum, there are a lot of suppliers forums and most of them have great discounts from time to time (for example, this time of year is Thanks Giving Day, so a lot of suppliers have good offers). My suggestion to you is to search and compare and while doing that, check for their charge of international shipping. Here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/85781-deals-steals.html is the best place for the offers.
Good luck and good hunting!
