Hello everyone, I was hoping for some guidance with my vaping experience. I have had the ego t for about a month or so now. Initially I really liked it, but now I feel like I am not getting any flavor from it. I have tried several juices (that have good reviews on this forum), but the flavor always tastes so mild. I also feel like I have to pull off it for very long to get a decent hit (I don't know if that's because I am used to regular cigarettes though, and the vapor will never feel that way).

I do like how easy it is to use, just a few parts and the battery lasts long for me. Since I am new to this I don't know if this is just as good as it gets or if I should invest in a new system or a different part to make this better. Any help would be appreciated, I am having a hard time sticking with this and keep going back to regular cigarettes.

...the best thing to do is get some LR cartos...either Boge2ohm or Smoktech1,7ohm XL cartos(my favorite)...checkout crystal clear vaping, hoosierecigsupply or madvapes(amongst others) for these...get at least 2R3 5pks of them...be sure to fill them completely(Boges hold 1ml and the XLs hold 2ml) and be in vape heaven all over again.......

It takes time to find what works for you. One person's Perfect PV is another's "lack-luster". And, the eGo T isn't that well reviewed for flavor. So, yes, you might need to find something that works better for you. If you are looking for flavor and the best throat hit possible, you might need to get something with a little bit more umph. Here are some that are recommended:

ProVape E-Cigarettes: Buy Electronic Cigarettes & Smokeless Cigarettes - Expensive, but highly praised.

Less expensive:

Buzz Pro

Ridiculously cheap: 650mAh/900mAh V. V. (Variable Voltage) Batteries with LCD screen for 510/eGO - $21.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--
It ships from China however, and will take a month to get! : o

Lastly, you need to clean your atomizer on the Tanks, as well. There is a thread (right now) on here about that.

Cheers!

Hi and welcome to ECF.

I think that you, as well as a lot of new people we have heard from today, are dehydrated. Staying hydrated can make a lot of difference in how your eliquid tastes. The winter months and heating can be very dehydrating.

Drink lots of water, more than you think you need. Besides helping to flush out the toxins in your system, staying hydrated can make a significant difference in your vaping enjoyment.

There is a phenomenon were you lose taste for a bit while your tongue adjusts to vaping. IDK if that's it or not, since I haven't used eGo-T stuff... I can't comment on that. I'd switch to another atty/carto if it was me just to test it out. Also, nicotine numbs nerves.

The eGo tanks dull flavor and TH. personally I think their garbage. Do yourself a favor and get some Boge 2.0ohm cartos

I have to agree with Rob I started with one and after a month went to cartos and haven't looked back ;)

Yes, I too started with the tank - just thought I had to like it. I threw it aside and started using LR cartomizers. I actually enjoy vaping more than analogs now. However, I have yet to find that perfect e-liquid. Still looking. Still sampling.

Keep with it. The goal is to get rid of the analogs. By the way, shop around. There are a load of good and bad places to buy from. Good luck.

If you use the same eGo-T atomizers as a month ago it is completely normal they to lose quality. The coil is covered with a gunk. When I used eGo-T the atty worked for me pretty well for three days only. Fortunately with eGo batteries you have various options what atty/carto to use. I prefer eGo Mega Dual Coil for now and don't look for better anymore. Their only drawback is that they are Low resistance and drain battery fast.

Rob's right. I bite my tongue when the Ego comes up. I want to reccomend people to drip or use just the Boge's. Then there's times when I see new people scratching their heads and I've stopped reccomending tanks on Ego batts. Apparently that was to overwhelming to a new user? But he asked what he should do and got 3 answers.

Tanks
Carto's , LR, HR, DC, Clearomizers
Atomizers
VV battery change voltage

So many options. A person has to stand on his own and experiment your taste is yours. But ego tips, base plastic, wick funnel, and atomizer all fail. That's why there's an ego-c. I cursed mine and waited for improvements on each part. Invested a lot into it and now I bite my tongue when it's asked about. But I reccomend it to everyone new because it's the best for newbies.

Good luck find what works for you. I think most people's mileage will vary with the ego tanks. My brother and mother started with vaping a month ago, and they both split an ego tank kit. She thinks it's the best thing ever and he thinks its horrible because he couldn't get any "hit" or flavor. I slid him a some 1.7 and 2.0 cartos and he is back on track.
