So I changed out my juice and decided to rinse/dry burn the tank.. After doing so I filled up the thank with new juice ( galactic custard ) and i'm having a strange problem.. The hits are fine 50% of the time but the other 50% i get a burnt hit.. Did i mess up the dry burn process? Should I put in a new head?

IMO, sounds as if there is not enough juice getting to the coils. Is your wrap too tight? Not enough wick in order to deliver the proper amount of juice to the coils? Dry burns happening here and there are normally due to not having enough juice being delivered to the coils via the wick. Is your juice too thick? Like... 100% VG with the (galactic custard)?
It is a thicker Juice not 100% sure on the ratio.. A local shop had made the liquid. I did let the juice soak for about 5 minutes.
While the Aspire Nauty is an awesome tank, It doesn't seem to like the real thick juices.
I've been vaping Boba' Bounty in my Aspire going on a month with no problems with dry hits. In Kanger tanks, I would get 1or 2 good draws, then a burned or dry hit.
I have to agree with this, the only time I get a burning taste when I vape, is when I add more VG to my juices.. I since stop, and haven't got the burning taste yet..
Please do not take offense but, this is sort of a blanket statement since Boba's Bounty is available in multiple VG percentages.

so how do you have the 'air flow' set on your Aspire Nautilus
try tightening it up some - so to PULL MORE juice into the coil...
remember the air flow isn't just for your pleasure,
it is designed to adjust fluid flow...
try using the smaller airholes in your adjustment dial to create more vacuum in your tank to draw the juice to your coils, also you can do primer puffs to get juice to your coils. Take your finger and cover up the airhole and take a draw WITHOUT pushing your buttom, this will also draw liquid into your atty.
Tightening the air control worked well, I did notice that the juice does change color sometimes.. is this normal? it looks as if a small drop of pale pink dye was dropped in my tank.

Just an update, I completely cleaned out the tank and replaced the head.. Not one complaint!
This is what I did about everyday throughout my first week vaping. Also I bought a total if three different tanks trying to find a tank that "worked" in the end it was me. There are a ton of variables in the vaping world. In order to get more juice into the wick you can pull a stronger suction or keep suction the same and reduce the air hole. My suggestion comes from the answers to my flooding issues but I think it applies the same. When your vape is working the way you want, fire it with tip near your ear and learn the sizzle of perfection. Too dry or too hot make different sounds. Anyway my point is I listen to the coil to determine if I need to increase or decrease fluid flow.
The biggest difference in performance I have experienced depends on the temp of the tank when I try to vape. When it is below 65F or so it is easier to flood (humidity likely has an effect as well) when it is hot and dry in the environment it is easier to get dry hits.
