Hello everyone.
Small Background story.
I started smoking when i was 18 and quit after a year and a half, i like running and doing physical activities and I could tell my stamina was getting hit by my lungs, you know the deal lol, shortness of breath, feel like .... when you haven't had a smoke and you feel even worse when you are done with the bad taste and breath.
I quit and I was fine till I decided to move to another state, I was unemployed there for a bit since I wouldn't start working till a month later and having nothing to do in my apartment (no internet, no tv, and not knowing the city) I started having way too much time in my hands and decided to play with cigarettes again. I had bought a cheap "e-cig" at a tobacco store before and it was horrible lol, no smoke, no throat hit, no tobacco delivery rofl, I guess you get what you pay for ($7.99). Then one day my girlfriend and I were walking through the mall and saw a TKO Vapor kiosk (I know, I know they overcharge but being a new user I was willing to pay extra to be safe), I went for a Firefly v2 which I later found to be an Ego Twist clone, but I asked as much as i could as to never go back to the kiosk and start buying online.
I am happy with my buy but for the $60 bucks I spent I knew i could go better asking the right questions to the right people.
Right now I want to build my own mod. Actually two to be exact, my girlfriend loved the vapor clouds and liked to play with it but the nicotine and the throat hit kills it for her.
I have two questions really and I would really appreciate you guys pointing me in the right direction.
For my girlfriend I would love to be able to put together an vape pen that:
Also if there are recommendations for e-juices that have mild flavors would be awesome. I found one at TKO Vapor called Blue Ice with 18mg of nicotine and the flavor is just right, not overwhelming and not too bland. I hear that nicotine kills some of the smell and flavor so I am more worried about my girlfriend's since hers wouldn't contain any nicotine.
Any websites recommendations would be awesome too. There are so many websites and if TKO has one then I would like to stay away from sites with outrageous prices. I feel they take advantage of people's ignorance when it comes to vaping but oh well, there are tons of businesses operating at that level.
Thanks for reading and Thank you a lot to all of you, because by reading threads around the forum I have learned a lot about vaping. I am just still confused about the parts and there is nothing like hands on experience.
PS: I don't expect you guys to come up with a detail list or shopping cart with prices. Just a guesstimate, I can always go the extra mile if needs be
. Thanks for the help, oh and I never visited this forum to begin with, I already read a couple threads with mods in them.

- I want to build a mod that gives good clouds (not too much, because i would use it at work and I don't want to be "that guy", kind of the clouds that you get from conventional cigarettes). I have seen some other people using mods outside in the break area and their clouds are neat but not exaggerated. From what I read I could lessen the clouds by going PG instead of VG.
- Have some throat hit
- Be e-juice (Nicotine)
- And easy to maintain but upgradable, lol might be too much to ask but oh well (at least for now while I learn and make my own mods in the future)
- And a decent battery. Eg. 1000mah +
For my girlfriend I would love to be able to put together an vape pen that:
- Gives loads of clouds
- No throat hit
- Easy to maintain (don't care much about upgrades) oh and e-juice as well, I don't know if I have to buy specific parts to handle e-juice that contains no nicotine.
- Small and non-mechanical
- preferably a decent battery, but not over the top as she would use it at home, where she could charge it anytime (my vape pen has a mini usb port at the bottom so there is no need to take it apart and you can still use it while it charges)
