New to "vaping" & forum..Went with HALO G6 Kit

1st I'd like to say this forum is awesome. I've been lurking for about 4 days doing research & gathering info to help me make my decision. Most of the questions I had were answered so again this forum is awesome.

Ok I guess I should give my story which is pretty straight forward...I want to quit smoking! My poison of choice has been Marlboro Smooth for the past 5 or 6yrs but before that I smoked newports. I love my smooth's so much so I find my self running thru a pack a day as of late (and I live in NY so u can image my pain) I wanna quit not just for money but for my body as well. I have tried Blu via a friend about a month ago and also I tried the disposable menthol version last week. Both times it was the same...pulls 1-5 were great and is what made me believe that "vaping" could be an alternative....after that it was jus slightly flavored air with Very little to no TH no matter how hard I pulled. Thus began my hunt. I found this site immediately and been reading.

I figured out this much, in order for this to work I have to get I have to replicate Marlboro smooths or a decent tasting (but strong) Minty menthol cig..at 1st then hopefully branch off to other flavors like other success post I read on here. With that being said I went with HALO G6, Most of the answers to my research questions led me to Halo more than anyone else. Great starting prices and overall products, Great reviews, and supposedly has sum of the best flavors.

It should be here today actually, im honesltly super excited to get this and get started. Cant wait to give my impressions. Heres what I ordered to start with.

Halo G6 Starter Kit
1 Manual 1 Auto
Menthol ICE < --prefilled included Flavor
LR Cartomizers <--(these seem to be key for wut i desire ..i hope so)
7ml bottles of:
malibu menthol-24mg
Kringles curse-18mg
Im also thinking i shoulda ordered "tribeca & prima 15??"

In case u havent figured it out I love menthol. I want to order so many more but this is a test run. So what do you guys think am I on the right path based on my order??? Are you starting out too? Who'd you pick/wut flavors??? I'd like to hear from everyone New and seasoned.

Also let me add this before 100ppl say it, I Understand im not going to get an exact replica of a Smooth my goal right now is to find that good menthol "all day vape"

hey welcome to the fourm. I think you're gonna enjoy the menthol ice too me it tasted very close to Marlboro smooth. I can't comment on the G6 because I've never used it. Most important thing is to find whatever works best for you. Good Luck! Also TriBeCa and Prime15 aren't menthol flavors.

Thanks...yea Tribeca seems wildly popular I jus wanna try it lol...I understand prime15 is like a marlboro red? A little advice I was given was to 1st find the menthol I like and when im comfortable try mixing that with prime15

So many choices, it's all about starting
I was a new port smoker, tried smooths, loved them, just easier to pick up new ports
Started with a plain menthol flavor (no tobacco) next bottle was juicy fruit, then never looked back
My starter kit and both those Flavors were from a local shop
This is where the story gets fun. I CAME HERE AND STARTED ORDERING!
Jump forward about a month ~ it's all a blur anyways

So, you can see, this 'vaping' can get out of hand trying to find your ADV (all day vape). Still haven't found mine, but I do have a couple go-to's

I also have a great menthol that I can add (mix) to any of the other Flavors to add that hint of menthol (goes great while drinking)

Yea its true Smooths are hard to find if you dont already have a plan/store list but it only took ONE pull off a smooth to get me to drop newports, im not joking it was instant i never looked back

ur Collection is crazy I have so much to learn lol...but I imagine my collection growing pretty fast due to the trial and error. I was actually just lookin a variety pack i wanna try. Where do you mainly shop?

I have some 'Port Menthol' it was pretty good
I really have so many and 'Taste is subjective' hard to say what you might like

Really they are all the same, larger number is longer battery life and longer device
Vision and Joyetech are the name brand ones, if its anything else, it's just a cheap generic
Then u have the VV ego, same thing but you can change the voltage output
Ego t, ego c, ego... Blah blah blah, the last letter is for a kit, it's the delivery device that comes with the kit

Nothing really gives me good TH, but I've found that Fire&Ice, (with cinnamon) gets close. I don't wanna vape hot enough for the TH to kick in, I find it less enjoyable that way, so cinnamon, IMO, gives you a close feeling.

I wanted to order sumthin at the sametime as my kit but i didnt kno wut i was lookin for. I have a better idea now I jus dont know which ones are worth trying. Check out clearomizers, a vision nano, will fit your G6 (if you get 808 thread) and if you go ego as backup there are so many big clearos ( vivi nova, stardust, t3 The list goes on and on) just know your G6 prob pushes 3.3 volts, egos push 3.7 (unless you get a twist / spinner) so juice in the G6 might not taste these as the eGo.

Also, steeping, if you don't like the taste of something out of the mailbox, that's normal, give it a few weeks, taste changes, then try again

Having a VV device will give you more room to grow as a vapor, without haveing to continue to buy new devices.
So that's why I think the link I gave is better, (you still can find less expensive with all today's coupons that are popping up)
