If you were a moderate to heavy smoker your sense of taste and, more importantly, your sense of smell are going to change during the first few months of vaping.

I know that I was at war with my taste buds for several months. Sometimes I couldn't taste anything, sometimes it all tasted bad, sometimes good...ornery little creatures those buds.

I found and many others have also found that our taste changed after a while. Food starts to taste really good and our sense of smell returns. The first juices I used after a bit they tasted gross so began the looking for new flavours. I suggest buying small bottles to sample new juices and then buy bigger bottles of the ones you enjoy.

Flavors of juices can also evolve over time. Depending the brand and juice you bought, it may have simply steeped over the month with the flaovr evolving after you opened the bottle. Some juices will benefit and improve in flavor over time, and some don't.

Ok thanks! Also I've notice my nose will run just a bit when vaping or drys my nose out pretty badly? Thoughts? Thanks again

Both PG and VG will draw water, hence the frequent advice to vapers from vapers to drink more than your normal amount of water. I've found, too, that some flavors will precipitate a drip or so.

Also, you say you've been vaping the same device and flavor since you've started. Are you still using the same coil/head? They will gunk up over time, and that will affect the flavor.

I'm about a month in on vaping. I'm using a kanger evod tank. I've been using the same ejuice since I started. I've noticed the flavor has changed or it has to me anyway. Is this because I'm used to it? Just looking for any help or suggestions. Thanks!!
Welcome and glad you joined. Most vapers encounter same flavor changes over the course of time. The great advantage of vaping is you are in control of vaping. Your problem could just be as simple as changing the wick/coil and trying a new flavor. With vaping almost any perceived "problem" can be fixed or improved upon.

I've given this a lot of thought and here's what I think:

Flavors are combinations of primary components, like most colors are mixtures of primary colors except that they are a lot more primary flavor components as opposed to colors. Some of those components can be undetectable or less detectable to some the same way that some don't see reds. If your detection of these components change, your evaluation of the entire mix will change. I think your body goes through these changes constantly. The same juice will taste differently to me at night than it did in the morning, probably due to a whole lot of factors, because I'm detecting all the components at different levels. Of course, when you quit smoking you go through major changes in how you detect some components and it will drastically change how well you like the mix. I always tell new vapers not to buy too much of a certain flavor because they may very well hate it in a few weeks.

When I first started, I got two set-ups not only for backup, but so I could change flavors easily. From day 1, I never vaped one flavor all day for the variety. Now, I will go through 5 to 8 flavors each day and have favorites for certain times of the day. I have no idea if that actually helps keep flavors "fresh", but it works for me.

i'm like you with several flavours going at a time... my hubby complains about losing flavours, but he's one flavour all the time... so now he's changing his habits a bit.

Couple of thoughts:
Could be because your sense of taste/smell are returning. I think it took me 3 months, and for most of that time all i could smell were horrible things... walking through a garden, all i could smell was the dumpster 300ft away... wife cooking my favorite meal and all I could smell was the trashcan (which had been taken out the night before)...

Could be because you've gotten used to the flavor. I rotate between 2 or 3 favorites so i don't get too used to one flavor (my vanilla butterscotch custard starts to taste like wax after a while of not switching it up). Clearing out your olfactory glands is a good idea too - eat some spicy food (jalapeños/siracha) or throw an Altoid mint in your mouth (curiously strong..) - also, good oral hygiene is never a bad idea :)
