Hi everyone......

I started with my first attempt at e-cigs about 2 years ago with a 510 and failed miserably; trying again and now on day 7 analog free.... Problem is I can't seem to find a juice that doesn't taste like almost nothing/air. I have about 15 different bottles and really can't find anything that has a decent taste to it..... Any advice would be appreciated. If it helps, I have Twist and Smoov batts, a Pro tank, and 4 EVOD clearos.

oh man. well, is there anything in common with the 15 bottles you tried? same vendor? all tobacco flavors? you might want to think outside the box a bit, take a risk on new flavors that interest you but maybe youre not sure youll like- you could be pleasantly surprised.

also, think about maybe sampler packs, or vendors who sell small quantity bottles, so youre not throwing so much money away. ecblends is one that i know of (but havent tried yet) that sells tiny bottles fo $2.50ea.

What are you liking right now..Tobacco flavors, fruit flavors or sweet? Also, where have you gotten your juice from...that can make a difference..if ordering online and when you went to order...if you were allowed to choose your Nic level and also what PG/VG you wanted, chance are its afresh batch of juice...meaning that it will more than likely need to "steep" that can take as long a a couple of weeks, or just a couple/few days...again, depending on what type of juice it is...care to give examples??

It is fresh - It's from a local place - they mixed it for us when we got it ----- Sorry if this is a dumb question--- But will the juices better with time? I was thinking of ordering a sample pack from Heathers, I like everything from tobacco to fruity - so almost any flavor is game. :)

You might try something other than Kanger bottom coil units, from my experience they tend to have muted flavor and airy draw, try a Vivi Nova or even a standard ce4 type clearo and see if that perks up the flavor for you, good luck and be glad your off the death sticks.

Another option is Mt Baker Vapors since you can add multiple flavor shots to up the flavor.

I find when my taste buds act up I have to radically change what I am vaping. If I have been vaping something like a mild fruit I switch to a really strong cinnamon (careful to only use a glass, polypro or metal tank as its a tank cracker) or vice versa.

Even so it took awhile before I really started tasting my juices when I first started. Tastebuds take awhile to rebound.

All of them are from the same local shop; they are a mix of fruity an tobacco flavors..... Are they really that different from shop to shop?

The difference can be like night and day. Some vendors have very subtle flavors and others have flavors that will slap you in the face and there are people who enjoy both. Some vendors specialize in flavor types i.e. tobacco, fruit, teas.
Find the thread "top 5 vendors" or I believe the 2012 juice awards list is a sticky post at the top of the general e liquid forum and these will give you some great ideas of who to try.

Right now I have Tiger's Blood, AB-, Arctic berry, Puff's Blood, Ecto plasma and a few others that are tobacco flavors..... (Can't remember all the names off hand.... I'm definitely going to try another vendor and maybe set these aside for a bit and try them again in a couple weeks. A few are reduced PG and some are all VG juices, I can't tolerate too much PG.....

In the interim, I guess I'll try Mt Baker and a couple others.... Maybe the menthol cigs I had for years really knocked out my tastebuds. Yikes.

VG is very muting to flavors. They do take extra steep time for the flavor to really shine. I am betting that the high VG is why your flavors are muted.

Hang in there. You will find something that you like.

Let the ones that you have steep. I have tried Tigers Blood and Ectoplasma and they are good flavors :)

Yes, they really do vary from shop to shop. Search around this place, there are a lot of good threads in the General E-liquid forum. Sometimes finding the right e-liquid is the hardest part of vaping. Sometimes you will love a juice, the next day hate it. It is a good idea to have several different kinds that you enjoy so you can change off.
Mount Baker Vapor is inexpensive and you can try different flavors, etc. without breaking the bank too much. Experiment with different flavor shots, vg/pg ratios, etc. KEEP HYDRATED with water...that seems to have a HUGE effect on taste buds. Relax, and ENJOY!
