New to vaping...need better TH

My husband and I are new to vaping and he's having trouble achieving a great throat hit fast. He's been thinking about the Silver Bullet. I don't want him to start analogs again b/c he's not getting teh TH he wants fast. HELP!

We are currently still using the Joye eGo 510 with tanks. Juice, we were using 18mgs and that was too much, so now we're using 80PG/20VG Liquid Express Lust, 9mg.

When I moved down to 12mg,I moved up to 5v.I use a GLV2 5v.I find 6v to be really hot and 5v to be warm enough for a good TH.

Your husband could try cartomizers. Boge LR 2.0 are good ones. I think you get a bit of a muted taste with the tank. Good, but muted.

But throat it is about the nicotine level. Increase the nic level, increase the TH. Or change to all PG.

I read your other thread. I wouldn't reduce the nicotine level too quickly if your husband is still having nic cravings. Too much too soon and he might be tempted smoke if he isn't getting the satisfaction he needs vaping. No reason to rush it. Get completely off the cigs first.

My mom went from 36 to 6. But it was gradually over a period of 5 months. I mix the juice for her and extremely gradually reduced her nicotine levels. She's elderly and has COPD so she's trying to do this. I try to keep vaping as pleasant and painless as possible for both of us.

It took me about a year to go from 24 to 12 and I still do 18 when I need it.It takes time,try to relax and not rush it.

Good advice. Throat hit comes from two things: warmth of the vapor, which comes from more power, which comes from better batteries and higher nicotine strength. I agree with the above suggestions - I would not reduce that nic level too soon and I would move up to either a good 5 volt PV, such as the 5 volt GLV2 or the 5 volt GLV3 from Great Lakes Vapor or a good variable volt PV such as the Darwin from nhaler.com. A less expensive 5 volt options is one of Ken's Box Mods. All three of these suppliers are well supported on ECF.
