Hi I've been using my e cig for about 3 days now and it's great really helping me quit smoking tobacco

The only problem I have is that I'm used to smoking hand rolled cigarettes with no filter so I'm used to quite a strong taste if anyone can have a look on this site

Won't let me post links... So the company name is ecigandliquid based in March, Cambridgeshire

And give me some advice on what is the best option for me

( this is my local stockist so will be buying most products from this site)

Thanks
Argo

Hi Argo, and welcome aboard the ECF train :)

Taste is very subjective, and without having tried any of their flavors, I can't give a specific recommendation. Since they're local to you, do they have a tasting "bar"? Many shops this side of the pond will let you try different flavors. If they do, that would be the best way to find out what types you prefer for now. (Your preferences will probably change as you continue on this process. :) )

That said, if you can get a juice with a high PG%, i.e 80%PG/20 VG, it will inherently have more flavor and throat hit. Higher VG will produce bigger clouds.

Higher nic levels will also give more TH. But you don't want to go so high that you over-nic yourself!

You don't say what type of battery you're using. If it's VV or VW, you can also try turning the power up a little at a time. Do that in steps until it starts to taste "off", then step back to the previous. Getting the right amount of power to the coil is also a personal, taste, thing, and can make a big difference. If you're not running a variable device, changing to a different resistance head will let you change the power. Lower resistance will then give more power / heat. Not as easy, but do-able. (And remember, too, that different flavors may taste better at different power levels.)

Well there local but work through a website so no tasting :p

Mine is a set battery 650 ego

I just don't feel I get enough puff out of it as I'm used to smoking such strong cigarettes I guess I was thinking of getting a

eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomiser - Black - 5ml (Tornado)

This is the setup I'm using right now

Can't post links so I can't show you lol that's annoying it's a

genuine 1100mAh eGo-T battery and ce4 clearomizer combination but I got a ce4+ that you can change the wick and element

Thanks
Argo

Both are fixed voltage, so any power adjustments will need to be made by getting coils in different resistance values.

I prefer the vape from bottom coil units, like the T3S (and many others), but the CE4+ is capable of taking different heads to "tune" the vape.

The site you reference doesn't seem to list any VV/VW ego styles - can you look for other's that might? Or shop around for a lower resistance carto?

What flavor, nic level and PG/VG ratio are you now using?

When I have a juice that doesn't have much throat hit.......I add a drop of Everclear to the atomizer and it increases the TH. It is true about increasing the PG to add more TH. Good luck and I wish you continued success. Welcome to ecf. Such a wonderful place to be able to find out just about anything. :)

I found the site, what flavor are you vaping? Is it the golden V or one of the cigarette flavors? you might want to look at some other sites that have a little more selection there are a ton of them out there. There is a uk suppliers forum, here is a link to it
UK and Ireland Suppliers
Take a look you might find another site with more info.

Oh wow there's a shop in Huntingdon I only live about 5 minutes from there I'll have to check it out

It would be great if they have a tasting bar, so you can try out some different flavors. Some shops have very knowledgeable folk in them, who want to see you happy :)

I agree, the 18 might be a bit light for you to start. Also coming from RYO, 18 didn't do it for me, while 24 (2.4% - same thing) did. The extra nic can help with the TH (throat hit).

Not all makers put the PG/VG ratio on the bottle, although it may be listed on the web site. But the 70/30 you mention is generally a pretty reasonable blend for TH/Vapor.
