New to vaping - review of the stuff I am trying

Well the wife hated my pipe and Black & Mild cigars...read about e-Cigs, so I gave it try. Spent a few hundred to get started based on the great info I gleaned from these forums.

Joye 510 (Cignot/madvapes/Nhaler) - starter kit, mega battery and plenty of spare carts/atomizers & USB PT (without batt in it) from various sellers. Pretty good e-Cig overall - the regular battery doesn't last long enough for me, maybe 2hrs. Mega batt is much better nearly 2x long. Passthough is best for long day in office :)

Not all 510 parts are the same!

My starter kit atomizers are 3.5ohm - last longer on battery but weaker vapor (still good though). The spare atomizers are 2.3 ohm and are much better. With the USB PT though the 2.3 ohm are to hot and taste is not there for me, with a 3.5 ohm atomizer and PT = good taste, excellant throat hit. The filter material varies too - either to much or not enough. Going to tea bag these when I get the time.

Screwdriver MK II (Totally Wicked)- bought the kit and spare carts. The 901 atomizers are ok but no where near as good as the 510s. Battery life is awesome - day and a half on one charge. Tried a 510-901 adapter to use my 510 atomizers on the SD but they just dont seem to work well, seems to let to much air in. Overall the SD II is pretty good, solid built - dropped it few times = no problem. The button on bottom kept coming loose too, used some threadlocker on it and its fine now.

e-Juice - bought samples from a few places.
Totally Wicked - stock tabacco came with kit = didnt like it at all, funny aftertaste. Coconut 36mg - Gigantic throat hit, makes nicotine fit go away - not much flavor. Its been keeping me away from analogs.
Nhaler - Octane Spicebacco - love it, bought the 30ml bottle too. Slightly sweet, smooth tabacco taste with almost pipe tabacco hint, absolutely love it. Tried the octane Menthol and Signature Tabacco - good smooth flavors. Nicotine just not doing it for me though, still vape them alot though. Flavor is strong.
Tasty Vapors - Kretek cloves 24mg - pretty good throat hit, not as strong a clove flavor as I would like though, vapes good in 510 PT. Atomic Cinnacide - 24mg - all I can say is WOOOOOOOOO...All day vape on this...Need to buy the gallon jug of this stuff. It has everything going for it.
Madvapes - Tried the Mad Grape 24mg- just didnt like it at all, strange taste to it. Citrus Blast 24mg - didnt like it at first...then vaped some more...Its pretty good - very mild flavor, good after taste, grew on me.

I haven't smoked an analog in 2 weeks now, learning how to clean out the atomizers, refill carts, and even vaping has been trial and error. I would say stick with it to any interested in e-Cigs, got to find the liquid that works for you and the dosage of nicotine too.

All of the vendors I bought from shipped fast, email status updates, tracking #s, and not one problem in any of the orders I made.

I'm waiting for Halo Cig to restock so I can try out Halo Freedom everyone is talking about. Any suggestions for me on what I might try to enhance my Vaping experience?

I got my starter juices from strictly e juice. I bought hookah watermelon (the only one I really liked), coconut juice, not a whole lot of flavor at all, hookah apple, that one was ok...sweet but the flavor goes away quick...I bought more but nothing worth bringing up. I won't order from them again. yuck. I am waiting for an order from ms t's bakery. I have heard great things about her and I tend to go more for the sweet cany like flavors anyway.

Sounds like you've done it right. Maybe you can try and purchase a different adapter for your Screwdriver and use your 510 atomizers on it.

You can find adapters at Altsmoke AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizers - Ecigs Battery Adapters

VaporCountry Vapor Country

Also I think you can still get them from GoodProphets, Heaven Gifts, and NHaler.

Finding your "go to" liquids can be a long and fun road. The Freedom from Halo is good liquid. Takes a bit to get used to it, but then it is addicting!

Maybe try some menthols? Great throat hit and a good way to change it up and clear the palate. VaporTalk Mentha is the strongest I've found that is premade.

Thanks everyone ;)

Duke - I'll try that Honey Flue Cured sounds good
CaptJay = Thanks, didnt even know about a Black & Mild liquid, gotta get that one!!

Gonna try the Tabacco in 48mg from Tasty Vapors and the Doubler to cut it down or just go 0 nicotine. I really like the bottles they use at Tasty Vapors too, tips are small so you can control the drops.

Just did a clean out on my original 2wk old Atomizers - ran under hot water then used "canned air" to blow them out and then dried for awhile with dryer. Seems to have done the trick although they are not as quite as strong as my brand new ones. Guess I need to buy some more spares.
