Hi all,

I started vaping 17 days ago and quit analogs the next day. I feel soooo much better - I can breathe again. Like others, I had tried everything to quit and this is the only method that hasn't made me go crazy. However, a few days ago I started having sinus problems which I have learned may be due to a reaction to PG. I am using cartomizers and am wondering if it is possible to buy them with just VG? I won't give up vaping, but would like to find a solution.

Thanks!

Hi travelaround and welcome to ECF. If I don't hydrate I end up having sinus issues. The vapor comes from our bodies and not the juice. The PG and more so the VG "traps" moisture in our mouth and throat and thus the vapor. I drink 2 large glasses in the a.m. and about 1 1/2 liters per day. Dehydration is a common issue with new vapers.
Good Luck, Vapoor.

Which ecig do you have? You may not have to buy a new one.

I have a Tatoo 2 piece that I bought on a whim at a mall kiosk in NY (Smoke Free is the name of the company I think)...I didn't start researching about ecigs until after I bought it. Wow, I now realize that I got the worst deal ever. I spent $155 on the ecig, 4 pkgs of cartos and a case. Sigh. Since the battery life is nothing, I was thinking about getting a new one.

Thanks Vapoor...good to know! I will try hydrating and see if that makes a difference before I completely rule out PG.

You're very welcome. Shameful that someone sold you an Ecig for $155. You could have bought a Mod for less than that BUT you have stopped smoking and that is PRICELESS. As far as using straight VG it is very thick and will clog cartos and attys so you may want to thin it out with PGA, Vodka or distilled water- distilled water is prolly your best bet IMHO.
Good Luck and I hope things work out for you, Vapoor.

I'd get a new one if the battery life doesn't last as long as you want.

A lot of us bought those e-cigs that we aren't proud of! Be thankful it didn't work for you, and you found this place!! The people here are wonderful and will help you purchase what you need for the lowest amount of money!

If you are interested in a new battery, I love my ego! I recently purchased an ego passthrough, and it is amazing. It lasts me all day, and by the end of the day I am charging while vaping!

Let us know what you are looking for an we can help you out!

Actually in re reading your post you can buy VG based juice separately and fill the cartomizers yourself.
Good Luck, Vapoor.
P.S. I KNOW you'll find a solution.
