New to vaping & VK UU

Ok, I rec'd my VK and just as I expected it does the trick.. however I am getting cravings because I think the 11mg cowboy carts I ordered are too low..

I just tried the 18mg Parliament on my PT and its amazing..

how come I cant get the same quality from the regular battery? Is there something I am doing wrong? Any tips would be appreciated..

Also, what flavors are good in pre-filled cartoz? I dont want to deal with the dripping right off the bat..

your doing nothing wrong, the pt is a machine that cant be matched!!!!


although a full batt is quite good as well, nothing will ever compare to the pt.

my fav's are as follows (so far, kinda new myself)...
cappacino
chocolate
menthol or mint....

i use 36mg though...

refilling is not bad either, just pop of the white cap and clear cylinder...... fill up with goodness and enjoy!

Sounds like you need to order 18's! The PT will be stronger because it is running at 5 volts, its nothing you are doing wrong.

Flavors are pretty much an individual taste, I'm personally fond of the fruit and desert type vapes and dislike the tobacco. Top favorites are peach/peach cobbler, banana/banana cream pie, English Toffee, Almond Choco Cocoa and many more. If it looks appetizing to you try it out!

Welcome,Taryn and V4Lis4me have pretty well covered your question. Flavors are all an individual thing. I like 555(mild tobacco),Coffee,Cappucinno, French pipe,Cuban cigar,Kamel(strong tobacco) and RY4. I just ordered Parliment so I don't know anything about it. It does sound like 18's are a good place to start for you. Becareful about going up to 24's and 36's you will loose flavor the higher you go. It is nice to have some around when you need them.

Just to expand and explain a little on what has already been said:

All of the batteries run at 3.7 volts nominal. They will start off around 4.2v when first charged and then drop to 3.7v where they will stay until they are almost completely discharged.

The PT runs at 5v, period. If your USB source supports at least 1000ma (1A), life is good. If your USB port only supports 500ma, which is very common, the PT will either not work or be very whimpy.

I only use a PT while driving. Don't want to spoil myself.

Pawpaw - thanks!!! Such a dummy here! ......using a PT while driving! Perfect! With my last order I got the car charger and never once has it crossed my mind to use my PT in the car! I don't use my computer much at home - mainly at work......so yep, this afternoon my PT is getting mobile.....moving to the car!!! Thank you so much - these boards are great. Right now I'm nervously waiting to see if the mailman delivered my order today. Usually takes 4 days tops to get something - I've been waiting a week now and don't even have a USPS track to check. I've sent a PM and emailed the order dept - but have had no response.........I'm nervous and out of goodies! I had ordered light from the beginning to find what I really love and now that I'm there, I placed a decent order where I won't run out.........hopefully it will arrive today.......anyway, thanks much for the great tip!

BTW Newb - welcome! This is an awesome place, and their products are great. I think this is finally my answer to getting away from analogs...my Christmas present to myself and family. My favorite is 555 and Parliament is second......I started out too strong, but the 18 and 24 are perfect for me. If you loved the Parliament, try the 555 also!

I'd pick up 18's, and a couple of 24's for if you get real bad cravings on occasion (like, hmm, after a meal, or after morning coffee, or, all day christmas day)
Get strong enough to satisfy even if it ends up being 36. You can always taper down later once you've pushed analog pangs to ignorable levels.

Thanks everybody.. I hope to get in touch with them at V4L and be able to get some new carts before Xmas Eve... I think the Parliament 18's will do until I find a better flavor.. the problem is, after a few drags it gets a burning taste and the cart gets hot.. whats up with that?

Also, I noticed the higher the mg's on the cart the better vapor production / quality.. or is that just me thinking that?

You need to rotate cartos if you take several drags, don't let them get very hot. You'll get the best life out of them that way. If you get a burning taste the carto might be getting empty.

I don't think the nicotine content has much to do with vapor production but now and then you get better vapor producing carto or a less producing one. Leaford is working on making it a bit more uniform I believe.

Occasionally you'll get a cart that gets hot easy for whatever reason. I used to think it was if the atomizer was crooked, which would make sense, but I've been unable to identify that as the consistent issue. Whatever the cause, sometimes a cart just runs hot, rotating works just fine. If it's doing it on every cart then you might be doing what I tend to, and using PT and taking loooong hits in succession. Which reminds me, I need to get another PT so I can rotate those too

Nicotine is one factor. Another seems to be the flavor; I am finding that the more complex flavors lose a bit of vapor production.
