I thought you guys might get a "yuck, yuck" out of this one. We knew this all along. Now they have to admit it.

where do I sign up for my lawsuit checks?

Yeah tell me about it. I bet my dad would still be here if it weren't for cigs. He quit few years before he passed but I believe the damage was done. He passed a couple months after my wedding. I named my son after him. BT owes me alot.

There are five different statements that the companies will be required to advertise.

One of them begins: "A federal court has ruled that the defendant tobacco companies deliberately deceived the American public by falsely selling and advertising low tar and light cigarettes as less harmful than regular cigarettes."

I wonder what the other statements are that they are required to advertise.. maybe something about the additives they use to make the cigarettes MORE addictive...

One of the few products you can buy and consume that will kill you... but with low tar and nicotine!

It is about time. I read this on the news yesterday. Lets just hope these ads show what turd burglars these companies really are. Sheesh if they did have to give money back that would be nice. I could buy a new car with all the money I spent on smokes. Add the doctor's bills for smoking related problems and that car turns into a luxury sedan!
