New topbox mini

Im pretty new to the boxmods and tanks but i just purchased the kanger topbox mini platinum edition from elementvape.com. i got it via mail on friday ans got it all set up went to fire it and ....NOTHING! I switched batteries, made sure it was all charged up &still nothing.
I noticed when i hit the fire button, the battery icon goes empty and blinks about 10 times. I thought maybe the batteries i had were junk but i just gave my mom the subox nano &the batteries worked fine in hers!
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE BLINKING EMPTY BATTERY MEANS?! (And its not the battery)

I tried switching tanks with the subox nano and it seemed to work just fine!! So I came to the conclusion that it may be a defective tank... since the Nano tank worked fine on the boxmod... will i be able to get a replacement?

I don't have that equipment, so I'm not familiar with the display, but I have to say it seems unusual it would drop the battery icon to indicate a bad tank. Usually they say "no atomizer" or something. Before I concluded I had a bad tank, I think I'd swap coils and try it again. Perhaps you have a Ni coil and you're trying to run it in wattage mode or something. But I'm talking thru my hat here, I really don't know; that's just general experience. Bump for an answer.

Basically it is blinking because the power is too high in this linked issue. Another post said it was due to incorrect batteries (not name brand authentics, person was using an Efest rewrap).

Could check your problem out with the vendor you bought it from or take the gear to a local B&M vape shop.
