5 volt pass-through. These are similar to the current style but have the chip re-designed to permit higher voltage to pass rather than the 3.7 chip in current pass-throughs.

These also have a bigger gauge wire.

What am I missing here?

My current 5v 510 and 808 PTs put 4.73v and 5.17v (respectively) to the atty. Granted, the 510 (it's pretty old btw) isn't as high as the OPs @ 4.95v, but it sure isn't 3.7 like the OP makes it sound.

It was my understanding, that the only 3.7 PTs were the ones with a 3.7v in-line battery...

Hi Sti,

I have carried PT's from several makers and none metered out higher than 3.7 to the atty. Did not know of others that put out more. Thank you for the info.
