Hey guys..sorry I haven't been around- been busy in boston! Orders are being attended to by the lovely Lucy back in Jacksonville. Will have to double check and make sure the inventory is all up to date on the site when I get back, and the empties should indeed be en route soon (5 times as many as last order so hopefully they stay in stock a bit longer :) )

Anyways hope everything is well in ECF land, know I haven't been around to answer questions like usual but I'll be back Wednesday.

I love both the hard cap and the soft cap turbos, best cartos on the market for sure! Have to be honest when I say that I like the original hard cap better though. No idea why because I don't do ohm readings or try to figure anything out at all for that matter:confused: lol. The hard caps, while not as easy to refill(although it's hard to call the call the condom method anything but easy), did perform extremely exceptional for me for some reason. Ben, is there anyway to make both the original hard cap turbos as well as the soft cap turbos available for purchase? Are they both from the same manufacturer?

I'm with ya Greyz....I love them both but I also prefer the hardcaps.... I don't like having to pull the cap off period to fill and it seems like when you fill the softcaps with the cap on it starts bubbling out before you get it even half pushed down into the condom. The only way I get a good fill on the softs is to pull the cap off. Also for me, it seems like I can refill the hard caps more times before they get funky. (I have absolutely no data or scientific evidence for this.) Either hard or softcaps, VaporNine turbos completely vaporize the competition!!!! :D

Received my order of empty soft-cap turbos today. And compared to the "hard-cap" ones, these are really much better.

Such a smooth draw and good capacity ... the only minor quibble I might have is the size/colour of the "VAPORNINE" on the lower end of the cart -- just a tad too conspicuous (but it certainly won't stop me from ordering more :) )

????????????? too conspicuous...huh? Don't listen to her Ben...go ahead with your plans to have your picture printed on each cartomizer. As a matter of fact....remember those pens that used to have a picture of a pretty lady in a bathing suit....then you turn them upside down and 8-o no bathing suit!!! I think that would be perfect for the Nebula batteries....with a picture of you of course.:D

btw....good call on keeping the soft caps. However...either way is fine as long as you get the QC problems straightened out. I just opened one of my remaining hardcaps because it was tasting uncharacteristly nasty....the atty wire was laying against the side of the carto and there is either so little filling...or it is packed so tightly that fully half the atty wire and wick is totally exposed. The soft caps seem better but there is still a real inconsistency in the way they are packed.

:D @ lorikay's "modest" anteater!

Just got some hardcap turbos in the mail as blanks were out of stock... I ordered menthol, and I do have to say that while I was impressed with the vapor, the flavor of the prefilleds was a little weird... I had seen other people talking about a "perfume" type taste, and that's what I think I got... vaped on it for about an hour and no improvement, until I filled up a condom 1/2 way with "Crisp Menthol" 16mg and pushed that into the battery end. Voila!!!! Much better flavor... I unpackaged all the others in hopes of dissipating that perfumey note, and will definitely be ordering some blanks!

Darn, I missed the uncensored version!

Lorikay, I agree with Miss MiA, you are the winner of the contest. Where can I preorder those batteries? I'd like a couple of Monsters:p
Ben, the ladies are right: QC is critical. I imagine they were in a hurry to deliver your order fast due to the shopping frenzy, but the inconsistencies in filling the blanks are irritating and they affect the performance. I had a couple of duds, not enough/too much polyfill, wire protruding vs. wire completely buried in the batting, center tube totally off center (more filler on one side?), etc.

And are we going to have those thin stripes in different colors on the cartos? Or are we going to stay with the conspicuous logos? If so, maybe the logos could be different colors? It would make our lives a bit easier.

So here is something new (at least for me) that maybe someone can explain. I topped off a carto, did the taryn spin and noticed some juice in the bottom condom. Obviously I didn't have it on quite tight. Anyway, I took off the condom to rinse it out and noticed black particles/specks floating around in the juice. I thought "what the heck is all that floating around?" So I thought maybe something had gotten into the condom that I hadn't noticed. Went and rinsed and dried it good. Put more juice in, did another Taryn spin with the condom loose on purpose this time. Same thing although the particles weren't as big and there wasn't as much of it. Tried it with another one with the same results. Little black particles/specks. Different juice. Both juices are light in color. I would post a picture but my camera wouldn't pick them up.

I did take the first carto apart and although there was some burning, scorching (whatever it is to be called) it wasn't horrible like the regular KR8's. That was my second top off.

Any ideas?

In various contexts, I have heard such specks identified as residual burnt (carbonized) juice, and the remnants of whatever couldn't vaporize, possibly including flavorings, colorings, oils, sweeteners, etc. And, that it's the same thing that accumulates on atty coils. (It's also more common in the Carlos Juice Box mod, with its homemade atty.) Was not typically thought to be harmful in what I've read. I don't recall hearing of it specifically in regard to carto condom techniques, but given the foregoing anyway, it would seem within the range of 'normal.' Maybe here it was related to the particular juice type/composition, maybe to the construction of particular cartos since some variances are being mentioned...

Katya, did you catch the critter when he was still donning the black box? Not entirely sure what the new green thingy he's sporting is lol!
