Well unless it's less the $9, I really don't see what the advantage would be.
Step it up to about 2mhz and inductor gets small.
You don't need much money at all to make a good performing mod, just some knowledge, soldering ability and perspiration.By no means am I a "modder". With that said... WAY TO GO..Love the looks of this one !! If I ever get a raise...I will be a modder !!
compare high frequency converters to the old fashioned 60 cycles power supplies. Large capacitors, large inductors.
Frequencies above 1 megahertz require much smaller L and C.
It would have to be the 10c but it doesn't meet the other specs quoted.
Oops..your right...I clicked the wrong one..they have 3, 6 and 10amp models. Gotta be close because the copy of the text in his post #34 matches the descriptions for these.
