New USB Charger...

I just got one of the new USB chargers in the mail today and the sticker on it says:

"INPUT AC 100-240V 50/60 MHZ"

I've always read that the USB puts out 5V DC.

The input is the wall outlet and sounds pretty standard...what does it state for the output?

I'm not sure what you are looking at. With an AC input like that it has to be a Wallcharger...not a USB charger.

And we don't have any NEW USB chargers per se.

No, this doesn't plug into the wall, it plugs into the USB port of the computer.

And it's not "new", but hasn't been out that long.

Let me see if I can get a scan of it...

I am sorry....I was under the presumption that is was not one from V4L......Those numbers sound like a wall plug....that is what my usb hub has.....

My V4L USB charger has both input and output...

Input: DC 4.5V-6.5V 0.3A
Output: DC 4.2V 0.15A

I'm at a loss. I will look at them at work tomorrow, but if you are indeed looking at a USB charger it doesn't have AC voltage as an input at all. It's DC Voltage.

Someone must have stuck on the wrong label...no big deal, I just wanted to make sure before I plugged it into the computer.

Input should be 5v DC. Output listed is correct.

I'll be checking stock on those tomorrow!!

BTW, have to give y'all kudos. I placed the order around 1:00pm on Thursday and less than 30 minutes later I had a SHIPPED confirmation email!

Wow, could y'all have gotten brighter LEDs for this thing? I love it!! Can tell if it's charged or not from a long way away, lol.
