New User Post

I joined the e-cigarette forum and have been reading messages for some time now. I now have a reason to post my first thread, to the Liberty-Flights forum, and learned that I must post 5 threads in the New Member forum before I can post in the other forums. Consider this my first post.

Question: If I do have less than 5 posts and have a question related specifically to another forum, how can I get my question over to the proper place? Or do I just post 5 messages here that might not have any value to the readers of this forum?

I have read the forum rules again and now have another question. After 5 posts to this forum can I go to the "forum suppliers" area and make posts there or is there another level that I must reach?

My understanding it that you need to post 5 here, wait about an hour and you are free to post anywhere. Just keep the conversation going to post 5. Talk about the weather or your PV or whatever.

You aren't allowed to post consecutive nonsense posts to yourself. A mod will come by and delete them, so best to answer a few questions here or maybe some other newbie questions in the new member area. It seems silly but really a good rule to prevent spamming.

What above poster said is great advice. You stay within this part of forum and read others post and greet them , share your experience, stories. in there threads etc and you can get your 5 posts in a very short time.

Is there a way to set your profile up so that you will receive emails when someone responds to one of your posts?

In general setting you can receive emails for new posts on a subscribed thread or for Private Messages, but not for a response to a specific post.
